Feels like it is; may be it's better to pull it down for a bit and sort it out instead of presenting it half baked - it's been struggling since last night. Something is majorly wrong.

Noticed that number of Forum Users was up to 9000 earlier on.

Few years ago I think peak numbers were around 7000.

4,000 to 8,000 users doesn't simply double the stress. With people trying to write and read the forums at the same time; there's a lot of interaction happening so the more people the more stress.
