Morning all ... checked my bank account this morning and my tax credits, child benefit, aqa money and cheque from ex-mi have all cleared today so its looking much healthier!! I can't move any of it across to the mortgage fund as its all either needed for food/bills this month or to clear the overdraft (again:rolleyes: ), but hopefully it should mean that by the end of the month I'm not too overdrawn if at all ;):D
Not much excitement planned today ... off to school in a minute, then nothing planned yet for later. Have a good day everyone !! x

Well, I sat in a music lesson this afternoon planning what to do when I got home and decided I would pick ds up and then go and buy stuff to make gingerbread men with him ... all went fine till I got to my aunts to collect him an he was spark out on her sofa, and had been asleep for 3 hours since she collected him at lundhtime from school :o:o:o Bless him, he's got a temperature and is now safely tucked up on the sofa with his favourite puppy and a big snuggly blabnket and a sickie bowl

So, now I remember why I don't bother to plan anything ;):D Luckily my Mum is able to come down tonight to look after him tomorrow so I don't need to have time off work ;) What would I do without her?? As much as I wouldn't want my ex back it does wind me up how stuff like this doesn't affect him ... he's off on holiday (again) with his girlfriend at the mo ... then again, I wouldn't swap for the world ...

Oh I can relate! If it's not a cold, sickness or a cough then it's something else at the mo! :)

Do hope he feels better soon - thank goodness for your mum!

That quite often happens with children in their first year at school. Something to do with meeting all those new germs and immune system not quite built up enough. Bizarrely it also often happens with new teachers on teaching practice or in NQT years!

Hope he's feeling better soon. DD was sick at weekend so my sympathies are with you both.

Ds spent the night being sick or waking up for a drink  so I'm a bit knackered tonight :o but the good news is he seems a lot better tonight and has managed to eat some toast and keep it down :T
My £80 from topcashback arrived in my account today so that was immediately transferred across to the mortgage pot and the calculations shoe it has knocked another month off :j :j :j So now we're aiming for a mortgage free date of May 2032 instead of the original date of December 2034
Today I have spent £1.90 on lunch.

Mum did all my ironing while I was at work today :T :T so the flat is tidy and I'm all up-to-date on jobs, but could do with a really good clean at the weekend :o
I took £30 out the cash machine this morning and I still have it in my purse :T :T thats soooo unlike me!! :D
