After watching the football I lost all my energy and spent the evening vegged on the sofa
before I went to bed I made an updated list of what I need to do today, and so far I have done more tidying up, had a shower, one the last load of washing, put away all clean clothes that didn't need ironing and have moved the ironing pile to the table in the lounge so I can't avoid it
I have also ordered a Cars Leappad game for ds for xmas, it is £2.99 in Woolies reduced from £12.99 :T and I have opted to have it delivered to the store so I don't have to pay a delivery charge and I also went though Quidco so earnt 15pWoohoo!!! At least its another bit for him done cheaply but I know he will get hours of fun from it
I still have to do the ironing, do his name labels on his new uniform, hoover and clean through, sort out my eyebrows and wrap up and deliver my nephews birthday present. That last one I can do once ds is home from his dads (4pm).

Ds had his first day at school today and it all went fine  He found some cars to play with as son as we arrived so was fine with me leaving him. I didn't cry and wasn't emotional at all actually, although it was one of those times when I hate being a single parent and would love to have had his dad withus as many other children had both parents there
I did send his dad a text to let him know it had all gone okay but he didn't even reply
Today I have spent £1.90 so far on lunch and £3.50 on some popcorn holders for xmas hampers from ebayWe are off out to a birthday party now so will report back later. Have a good evening all

Glad DS had a good first day at school, Athough you were thinking about being there alone for him DS probably never give it a second thought. He was happy to just have you there:D so try not be so hard on yourself, and if ex isn't interested then that is his loss:mad: you will be the one who has all these memories of DS growing up not him.
Enjoy the birthday party:j

Good and bad news again today ... on the good side I only spent £2.10 on lunch today and nothing else all day
... on the bad side, ds school "forgot" to tell me he can't start the breakfast club until January when he goes full-time    I had sorted childcare for the afternoons but they told me he would be fine for the breakfast club but today they realised he couldn't go because he is in reception   I'm fuming, and am trying not to think about how good the other school was
Other than that though he is enjoying it at school but it means I have to rely on my relatives taking him to school for me for the next 3 months.
Also, last night I bought 6 pints of milk from Tesco, and the plastic seal under the lid wasn't seales properly and I now have about 3 pints of milk gone through the car seat   I am about to go and send a not very polite email to Tesco, its going to have to be professionally valeted as it smells already
Ho hum, otherwise its been another good day though, I've enjoyed work again and ds is enjoying school so all in all its all goodTonight I'm just having a lazy night, gonna have a bath and then veg on the sofa catching up on stuff on here

the milk thing happened to my sister in law a while back. Tescos were very good and sorted out the cleaning, although it did take a couple of cleans to get rid of the smell completely.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. I reckon the milk thing is karma for not telling Tescos they had given me too many clubcard points :rolleyes:Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

I finally found a valeting place that reckon they can possibly help with my car, they said they've had several similar ones before with milk and it usually involves a very deep clean, but once they had to write a car off because they just couldn't get rid of the smell    I've only had my car about 6 weeks so I'd be absolutely gutted if that happened all because of some milk  I called Tescos and they said I had to go back in the store and fill in a form. I explained I'd been in and they said they couldn't help and told me to call head office  ... anyhow, I went back in again tonight and explained what had happened and the manager apologised and asked if I would like a new bottle of milk:eek:  I explained as politely as I could that I wanted my car sorted out asap not some bloody milk !!
Anyhow, I've filled in the form and they have to send it off to Dundee and they will contact me  Hope its not gonna take too long as I'll have to pay for the cleaning in the mean-time:mad:
Today I spent £1.90 on lunch again and then spent £6 in Sainsburys in pure junkI had to go in there for a mystery shop and then ended up buying sweets and stuff I really dodn't need
Also found out today that if I choose to work through my lunch or my break I will get paid for itI said I'm happy to do as many as they want me to! So, even though it won't make a huge difference it all helps!
