Glad you're still enjoying the job. Did you have kids in today? Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

I've just got another mystery shop for october, which will get me a fiver ... again not a massive amount, but another fiver all the same
Every little bit helps, found out today that there is the possibility of a bit of overtime at work too .... won't be much but we have to cover lunches / breaks with the kids and at the moment they're all covered but if someones off sick etc. then I could cover for them and hopefully if anything comes up permanent then I could do it regularly. It might only be one lunchtime a week but its an extra 5 / 6 quid when I'd just be sat down doing nothing otherwise;)

My daughter started year 7 this morning, the older ones went in at lunchtime.
She absolutely loved it, thank goodness.
Good luck tomorrow, our kids all come back in school tomorrow too.Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

Another cheap day ... I spent £2.41 on lunch again. On the plus side PC World have replied to my email and have said they'll price match Whsmiths and rfund me a tenner :T
Other than that I've got a dliemma ... as you know I moved recently and ds starts school tomorrow, all fine, hes excited etc etc BUT ... today I got a phone call from my first choice school to say someones moved and he can have a place there now  Now I should be really happy but I don't know what to do ... the new school is nearer and his school holodays would always be the same as mine (both in same county) whereas the original school is over the border of another county (although only a couple of miles from here). Also, I am concerned that if he goes to the original school his friends won't live locally ... however, I really like the original school and the teacher and its just got a nice feel about it iyswim ... but the new school have already started so he would have missed the first few days and doesn't know anyone. I know thats not a big deal but it is to me ... tomorrow should be his first day at school and I'm stresing over which school to send him to ....Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Thats a difficult one Benben.
I assume they would feed into different high schools. Which one's best?Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

thank you for replying spud !! they both feed into the same comprenhensive (the one I'm working at
), but whatever I decide will be the one he's at for the next 6 years
Am more inclined to go with the new one now, it was the one I wanted originally and we could walk there and he could possibly cycle as he gets older, whereas the other one would mean a car journey every time ....

I think I would agree to be honest hun.
The new school sounds lovely, teacher home visits etc. It would be disrupting him a bit if he changed now, especially as the other term has already started.
We walk to school too, and I'm sure kids that do walk arrive more awake and ready to learn !!!Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:
