Its turning into a day of sorting out niggly jobs that need doing  its a shame really because the weathers lovely and we should be down the beach really but now I'm at work during the week every day I need to get into a routine of doing the jobs during the week not leaving them all for the weekend to catch up with :o
Just spent another £1.80 on milk and sausage rolls and got a £2 in my change :j Not quite sure what I'm saving them up for at the moment, possibly for the next time my hair needs highlighting, possibly for ds birthday party next year (not in budget anywhere else), or has anyone else got any other suggestions???? :D

You could save them up for a cheapy holiday for you and ds next year?
Well done on your money saving.
At least your ex still sees your DS. It can be very hurtful if a parent doesn't make some effort especially as they get older (I am talking from personal experience here!)

I want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

Hi started reading your thread and think you are doing really well. Had to smile at your last post -do you mean you hate FLYING or was it a freudian slip ?!

I just wanted to post to say I have just been reading your thread and your positivity made me smile so much, especially when you said about your ex and his time with your son then turned it into a positive by saying oh well it means I get to spend more time with him... What a lucky boy... And with an attitude like that I believe you'll reap the benefits in many ways..

    Well done :A

  • I've managed to take mine to a Haven camp for the last four holidays through the Sun tokens but, having missed them this year, I will have to use my Clubcard tokens.:p

Devon Cliffs last year was the best one of all, it's Haven's flagship camp near Exmouth. Sounds like you're more set on going abroad though which isn't for me. Honestly it isn't, proving I hate lying and flying.....

And Benben, Mae's comments are spot on. Every time my ex rings up and says "Would I like the boys for such-and-such a time", I never refuse because time spent with them is so lovely.

We're all sat around the telly waiting for our numbers to come up. Benben, we'll go halves if we win tonight, okay?

Edited to add: Unfortunately, half of nowt is still nowt...:-)

Well tonight I have been very productive and got my AQA application completed and sent back, hopefully I'll hear something back from them this week.
I have also had another long chat with cutie bloke on MSN today (remember him from a few pages back :D ) so a good night all round :D:D

Good luck with AQA and cutie bloke.... although I was beginning to think there was a budding romance with a certain other MSE'r on your thread....;) he sounds a nice guy....

Hope you have a nice day today, I'm almost tempted to drive down as I'm missing the beach from last week, and Southbourne is a nice beach apart from the walk back up to the top!! lol DD is missing the beach too, she keeps asking for "Beach" whenever we go in the car...aww
