Well done Benben - I got the application form for AQA once, and lost my nerveIs it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

Its been a good day today - firstly getting accepted for AQA has had me welking round smiling and I have even managed to get my !!!! off the sofa and do some housework !
:rotfl:
I had my final bill from Southern Electric today too (have switched via Quidco) and I have been putting away £50 per month for electric since I moved in as I didn't know how much it would be. I have £100 put away and the final bill came in at £49!! :T :T I'm going to leave the rest of the money in the pot though in case bills go up a lot in the winter. If after six months or so its still building up in there I will transfer some to my mortgage pot.
After work I went to Sainsburys and spent £20 on food and £15 on petrol. I picked up a pack of 3 red polo shirts for £1.05 and a navy sweatshirt for 60p for ds :T I also bought a pack of 4 innocent smoothies for him (£2.99:eek: ) but as he won't eat fruit I told him these were special milkshakes and he drank one and said it was lovelyI know they're expensive but its no worse than buying a punnet of strawberries and a bunch of bananas and then binning them when he won't touch them
I spent £2.55 on lunch.
I also picked up a couple of mystery shops when I came in for October which will be another £30 in the potI'm waiting to hear back on a couple of others, so all in all a pretty good dfw day :T :T

The payment from Ciao arrived in my account today so I have moved that over to the mortgage pot  I also had a letter from la redoute saying the top I ordered was out of stock so that means the parcel they tried to deliver yesterday probably was my Wii :j :j I've arranged for them to redeliver it to the post office tomorrow so I should hopefully get it tomorrow before my friends arrive ... should give me some time to practice on it before we have a competition on it
Today I spent £1.90 on lunch and £1.90 in Tesco's on school socks, they had a pack of 10 reduced to 85pprobably have enough now to last ds till he leaves school but hey ho :rotfl:

My Nintendo DS arrived today from same phone offer:D so should definately be your Wii they were trying to deliver.:j
Have fun challenging your friends, wii is great fun.
Good bargain with DS socks too, kids can never have too many socks, especially when the washing machine tends to keep eating one of each pair:rolleyes:  or is that just in my house:rotfl:

Postie has brought me the other £20 of John Lewis vouchers I ordered from Pigsback today :j so thats £60 now either for presents from John Lewis or food from Waitrose  I think I may use it for presents as I spend £20 each on my 2 nephews and my niece, so I could get all three done with that
Have just got back from ds football, he did really well today ... he didn't exactly "play" but he did at least got off the bench and manage to join in for the full hour. His attempts at being a windmill didn't go down too well with some of his team though when he was supposed to be goalkeeper but kept twirling off round the pitch :rotfl:
Right, I'm just off to the Post Office to see if they have my Wii machineMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

The windmill made me laugh! they are so funny playing at that age, I remember when the ball went on to other pitch (where match was in play) and about 6 of them followed it - got very confusing!
