My Wii machine turned out to be a free sample of cod liver oil tablets   :D:D I had forgotten I had sent off for them, the bloke at the post office said he's never seen someone look so disappointed with a parcel before :rotfl: Hmm, well I guess I won't be having much of a competition tonight with my mates then

Thank you ladypink, I haven't been around as I've had a fabby weekend with a couple of mates  but I have spent waaaaay too much money too :o

I did housework yesterday, then a friend popped in then I went shopping and bought a pair of combats (£10 reduced from £20, but get £8 paid from mystery shop ;) ), 74p on some craft scissors for ds, £23 (not reduced!!! ) for a handbag from Per Una .... very unlike me to see bag I love and even more unlike me to just go "oh what the hell" and buy it :o , but hey ho thats what I did! Also spent £2.50 on concealer in M&S, £5 on a jumper in Asda, £5 on food in Asda, £7 on two school jumpers, 2 pairs of school trousers and a tanktop for me in Sainsburys :T , 74p on some watercolour brushes for me in WHSmith and £1.50 on a new baby card for a friend. £4.15 in Boots on moisturiser and conditioner. Then I went and met my friends and we went out for dinner which was lovely (£15).

Today we went shopping together and it was the first time for years I have been girly shopping. Normally I have ds with me or I go on my own. It was lovely and we spent ages going through all the testers in Boots makeup section like little school kids :rotfl:

I ought a relly nice green parka jacket for £15 reduced from £30, £12 on new foundation which I desperately needed, £7 on nail varnish and some shimmery bronze powder stuff (but paid for these with Boots points ;) ), £1.90 on some new kitchen scales in Asda (so I can weigh stuff to work out postage and start shifting stuff on ebay again!), £2.50 on a shirt for ds in Asda, and £1.90 on one of those travel mug things for taking my coffee to work ;)

Thats seriously shocking when I write down how much I have spent in just over 24 hours   Total = £114.93     OMG !!!! I've had a lovely time but have seriously blown the budget for the month now   Off to see what I can stick on ebay ........

Just realised I also spent £4 on a black top and £4 on a milkshake and cake in M&S :o:o but I did also return the item I bought in a mystery shop last week and got my £5 back ;):D

You are so good with your money this is why you could afford to have a fun weekend and splash out a little... So your hard work money saving over the weeks has allowed you to do it.. You were being good to yourself and quite right too

Spent £2.35 on lunch today and 40p on a teacake at breaktime :o Tesco's have refunded the £2 for the broken photo frame in my account too ;)
I haven't wirtten much over the last couple of days as my Mum is staying and she frowns every time I get my laptop out  :D so I've not been on here as much a usual. She's going home tomorrow so normal service will be resumed ! :D

Am quite nervous about payday on friday ... I still haven't been told how much I'm actually earning, I know what the highest and lowest amounts per hour are, and I'm guessing I'll be at the lowest end of the scale as I don't have specifi qualifications for the job, but hey it would be nice to know  Also, I think I'll be paying emergency tax because I only sent off my p45 last week to them and also today I found out they join us in the pension scheme automatically, but I don't know how much they take for it  Its a good thing I guess as I've been meaning to get round to it for ages but haven't bothered :o so at least its done for me ;) ... just hope it leaves me with enough money to live on :D
