Hi - great news about DS, must be such a relief hey?

I'm off to bed soon, but not taking the laptop as I'd never get to sleep!! :rotfl:

Off to Paultons Park 2moro, handy having a season ticket, car booty on Sunday and no plans yet for Monday, depends on OH - he may be going surfing..... which depends on the conditions...??? If he does, do you fancy going to that Alice in Wonderland place?

The weather forecast seems to be a bit hit-and-miss so we might just wake up and see....

I've got some free cinema tickets that DS3 won in a school raffle that run out next Saturday so I might see what's on at the moment as I need to use them up. I've got my two for an extra day :j so will spread the activities out a bit. They keep nagging me to take them to the airport to watch the planes take off and land. We normally combine that with a picnic down at the harbourside and a trip on the little steam train that runs up and down. I ought to take them for an informal football training session at some point as there is no official training for three weeks....

Tigz ... I'd love to go to Alice in Wonderland, but could we make it another time so I can use my tesco vouchers?? With them it would work out at €5 vouchers for me and ds, otherwise it will cost €20 for us both to get in  and having bought jeans yesterday I'm not gonna have enough money, sorry :o:o

Good luck with car booty 2moro, I'm doing one too.... we should have a mini-challenge, see who can get most money. I'm hoping for £50, which go into spending money pot for our hol which is on 19th.

I wasn't going to do one, it was only reading your stuff that made me decide to do it, so thank you :D:D I don't have much decent stuff to sell, anything half decent has already gone on ebay, but I have lots of "bits" iyswim, kids toys etc that aren't worth ebaying. Anything I make will be a bonus and will go into my ebay challenge pot, I know its not ebay but my aim in there is to make €1000 this year from ebay / car boots etc, so I need to get shifting some stuff. Once I've cleared all my junk I may look on freecycle for some car boot lots and set myself a mini challenge for the summer holidays
But yeah you're on, I'd love to make €50 tomorrow ;):D Good luck with yours :D:D

Ok... will text you hourly updates....I don't have a lot either really, a few of DD's toys/books and some bits and bobs, ie some glass placemats and coasters, bath mats, books, picture frames... basically anything I've not used for a while is going!! I'm hoping I don't have to bring much back with me.

Good idea re looking on freecycle, guess could do a booty every 2 months.

Good luck - hope the weather holds for us...xxx

Right, I've sorted all the car boot stuff and loaded up the car already :j :j It was much more organised than I thought so it didn't take too long :D I went into the bank to get some pound coins and 50p's as I didnt have much change, but they said they don't have any coins  Now, I know they don't like taking in many bags of coins but thats ridiculous!! If a bank doesn't have coins then who does??

Anyway, I've whizzed round the flat and collected up as many empty carrier bags as I can find and I'm also going to print out a few labels off the computer (anything in this box 20p etc) and laminate them in case it rains ;) I thought it would take a lot longer to sort it all so it hasn't felt like too much work this time, just hope we have a good day tomorrow ;):D Most of what I'm selling are real odds and ends, although I do have a few of ds toys, a huge bag of megablocks, a fisher price little people train set and a fisher price little people farm. Both of these are in their original boxes with all the pieces there and the original instructions. Then if they do sell I need to decide whether the money goes into my fund or into ds bank account  Usually if I sell anything of his then I put the money in his account as they were his toys, however I also think that if they go into my ebay challenge fund then he will benefit from whatever we spend it on anyway  :D

  • How organised are you! I would say put all the car boot money in your challenge as you bought the toys in the first place and like you say DS will benefit from it one way or another anyway.

Good luck for tomorrow I hope the weather is nice and you make lots of lovely lolly to make the effort worth while.
