Diary of my new life !!!

I have just checked my bank account and my tax credits went in 2 days ago (paid every 4 weeks) but was €10 less than normal
..... anyway, this morning I checked it like normal and an extra payment has gone in for €380 :j :j :j I have no idea why, they haven't sent me any info about it yet, they did say ages ago I may be entitled to a bit extra in April at the end of their year, but I haven't heard anything more from them
I'm sooooooo happy, I won't spend it yet in case they decide they want it back, but if I'm bored at work today I can start planning what I'm going to do with itHappy happy day !!!!

Hey all .... my computer i being a nightmare so haven't been around for a bit ... may not be here for long again so just saying hi before it goes again
I am completely lost without the internet so am trying like mad to get it sorted ... my cutie friend has offered to come round and help me tooMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

well at the moment its looking like i may have fixed whtever the problem was ... I am not remotely technical but have spent the last 3 days playing around with th laptop, stroking it nicely to try and persuade it to work  and finally today it decided it would. Its still pretty slow and tempermental but hey, I'm grateful
I have also finally upgraded to wireless, I went and bought the router thing and managed to figure out what I had to do. I can't believe pc world charge about €80 for setting it up, its not that complicated, most of it tells you step by step on screen what to do
Anyway, I've spent the last hour trying to figure out my money which had managed to get in a huge muddle in just a couple of days; not ony had I lost my internet access I've also managed to lose my bank card :rolleyes:I know its indoors somewhere but I have turned the place upside down, I reckon it may have got put in the bin by accident at some point
So, I have had to withdraw cash from the bank and use that for everything ... today in Sainsburys my shopping came to €36.15 ... luckily I had enough but only just, I came out with 46p in my purse
So, he upshot of it all is that I have €5 to last me until wednesday (payday) which shouldn't be a problem as I have been food shopping and we're having packed lunches. Tomorrow night I am going to a belly-dancing class :rotfl: with girls from work, not sure how much it costs but won't be much apparentlyMore of a belly wobble rather than a dance I think
Yesterday I received a cheque for €25 from Globaltestmarket (surveys) which I need to bank, and today I sold 2 things for €1.99 each on ebay
Off now to figure out the budget for MayMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Sounds like a reasonable day, all in!
I think the tax credits payment is an adjustment for the end of the financial year.......I got a strange payment through too, but haven't looked since to see if it is in addition to my normal payment - I just assumed it was an end of year thing!
My vote would go for the wii fit........we don't have a wii, but even I have to admit they look good fun!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Evening all !!
Tonight we went to the belly dancing lesson, it was great fun and we will definetly go again
It cost €2 (half price for the first week
), and I also spent €1 on a bottle of water
and sweets.

Unfortunately I don't know where he's going
but I'm doing my best to find random excuses to need to talk to him
Today was a cheap day, I spent €1 on cake and a cup of tea and €4 on postage for ebay stuff. Its payday tomorrow and I'm all set with Mays budget
The weather here is horrible tonight, so we're just having our tes then ds is having a bath and an early nightWhen I dropped him off this morning I bumped into his teacher and she said she thinks we've turned a corner with his behaviour as he seems to be improving each day :j :j I know I shouldn't speak too soon, but I really hope she's right
I also ofund out he's the only kid in his class to have moved onto the books with a red sticker, everyone else is on the pink stickers
I'm soooo proud :A
