Hey thats great. And you never know what the future holds, your income may go up so may be able to up the extra payments in years to come when DS at high school.
How much money will all this have saved you in interest? Can you tell I find the dull stats interesting0 -
Thank you KM, I'm glad someone else enjoys them
If all goes to schedule then it will save me €21,500 in interest :j :j :j Obviously things may change ... my fixed rate finishes next June so that could affect it, I could move somewhere bigger, I could meet someone  , I could earn more or less money, who knows ??? Thats part of the reason or wanting rid of it though, there is too much uncertainty so the smaller the debt is the easier it is to worry less
(plus, its a challenge and therefore I simply have to beat it

Other than that it will be a lazy kinda day, I need to do some food shopping and a bit of cleaning but that about allMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

I hope you get some good weather so you can get out and do all the things you want to do without getting too wet!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

I've had a lovely day today, we went to the local funday, which tbh was more of a fun 10 minutes   There were 3 "stalls", one had a facepainter, one had hoopla and the last had rubber ducks in a paddling pool that you had to fish out. Well, it was pouring with rain and although I tried my best to make out it we were having fun ds wasn't impressed
Luckily, a neighbouring village were also having a funday today so we headed over there. That was much moe successful, there was a fie engine for the kids to climb on, tractors to climb on, bouncy castles, ferret racing, tombolas, cake stalls etc etc ... they also did kiddie aces and ds came 3rd in the egg and spoon race :j :j .... out of 3
I did spend about €20 altogether but we had a great day out so it was worth itbut being the good dfw that I am, there was a stall selling old diecast buses which ds was dawn to like a magnet  I let him buy 2 with his pocket money and I bought 2 more that were boxed limited editions (€1.50 each
) with the aim of ebaying them

You must have been really unlucky with that weather. I kid you not but I am definitely browner after an hour and a half in the park this afternoon than I was before.... :eek:0
