Aw poor DS getting stung, I hate wasps/bees as have a fear of being stung. Glad to hear he was a brave boy.

Fab news re mystery shops and AQA.... I'm not clever enough to do AQA, some of the test questions are far too hard!!

ps- wish I lived closer to the beach, would love to nip down after work x

I've done the mystery shop tonight which was a nice easy one :D I didn't get the ones for the weekend though :o so will need to look for some more. Today I have spent €5.99 as part of the mystery shop but will get €5 of it refunded :D
My new bank card arrived today so hopefully I can get back to some sort of normality with the money situation. Just off to do ds bath, back later !!

I'm feeling very strange tonight; tomorrow is going to be a very odd day ... my best mate is going in for her brain surgery and by tomorrow night we should know whether they are able to remove it :o:o:o Also tomorrow night is my blind date   I'm a bit nervous, mainly about what the hell do you find to talk about with a complete stranger for several hours in a pub?? :o:o It was okay when cutie guy came round as I have been chatting to him for months and knew him if that makes sense, whereas I literally know nothing about this one :o:o

Oops ... just re-read what I posted, obviously I meant by tomorrow night we should know if they can remove the tumour ... not her brain ;):o:o

Hope tomorrow goes well on both counts and don't worry about the date - I'm sure you'll find something to talk about.

Hope all goes well with your friend's surgery, my cousin's best friend went in for surgery a month or so ago, so I can understand how you'll be feeling, she was on tenderhooks all day.

Hope the date goes well, hope you enjoy it and make a friend if nothing else xxx

Morning all .. well, update time as I didn't get on here yesterday ....

    The good news .....
    • The date went well, he was a lovely guy, we chtted for ages, think I'm seeing him again :D He's been badly hurt too so we both know where we're at so even if anything does develop it will be slow ...
    • I had a phonecall from landlords solicitor to say I overpaid my maintenance last year (was all built in to the moving costs) by €60 so instead of owing €211 (which I was going to pay today) for this years its now only €150 :j so thats an extra €60 heading towards the mortgage pot :j :j
The not so good news ....
    • Friends surgery wasn't as good as hoped; the tumour has attached itself to a vein so they could only remove part of it :o Not too sure what this means, am waiting to hear more, possibly she'll have to have the radiotherapy now :o:o
Ds has gone out for the day with his dad today so I am going to have a fairly lazy day, he's due back at 5 so I need to do some food shopping and drop a few things off at a friends house but thats about all :D
