Hahahahahah! For some reason that really amused me LSF and I spluttered tea everywhere!

Enjoy the hairdying, MU! I really miss dying mine, I went through so many different colours. Psoriasis on my scalp put a stop to it but I have considered that dipping hair dye thing where you only dye from the bottom to halfway up. The downside would be it would make me stand out more which means I may never remove the blanket when outside again, particularly as I quite fancy scarlet.
Dip dying looks really good :) Mines not long enough for it. I really really want rainbow hair one day! Its been a dream for a while but i know there's no way i can do it on my own and im reluctant to pay someone to do it! I try to only bleach it at about 4/5 months. I use argon oil conditioner and a strengthening shampoo. I like the hair dye i use as it seems to condition it too my hair is always soft afterwards.

  • What about a wig? Wear indoors, then revert to non-stand out for outside.

Ooooh, a wig could work! I used to use clip in hair extensions, too so that is something else to think about. My hair is dark brown with auburn glints and I get so bored with it. I started dying it at the age of 13 and kept it up until Psoriasis put a stop to it. In theory there is no reason why I can't still fully dye it but the pain would be ridiculous and I'm a big coward.

Have some chocolate cake and big hug, haybel.

I used to have long pink hair, Mrs_Ryan. Also, blue, black, bright red, blonde, purple and white. The best look was long hair cut with razors and died black with bright red and white highlights. It looked amazing and cost a fortune. I could only afford it once.

Starting to think I have missed out by not having had rainbow hair!

I'll post a pic if people would like to see it? :)

Mrs_Ryan, do it!! Try and get one that can be straighted and stuff, they tend to loom a bit more realistic, (i;ve got crap pink one that cost a few quid and looks crap cos its shiny, where as my turquoise and red one look more real) Cosplay one are usually good
