Has the sun motivated you yet Calley?
I am tidying. This is a novel experience for Gitdog who is trailing round after me looking confused. At some point I need to venture into the garden. Which I will enjoy when I get there, it's the getting there that's the problem today.

The job itself is fine now that issues that happened before I started are being resolved. Lovely moment the other day when I got a hug for "scaring the !!!! out of the doctors" on someone's behalf.:D .
I am still struggling with the 9/5 but that would be the same for most jobs. In fact most would be worse because I'd have the commute as well. So I still think redundancy and making me do something different was a good thing. It's reorganising how I fit everything in at home that's taking a bit of getting used to .
(All you who have been doing 9/5 for years are probably wondering what I'm going on about.)

    How are you feeling today?

Well, after the big bust-up two days ago, have been feeling ghastly, but mostly because I'll have to face them this evening at a performance, and I want to tell them that I'm leaving the sub-group, and I'm dreading doing that. They'll either be very annoyed, or they'll be pleased, and both will upset me.
It's not just because of the bust-up.....I realised I haven't been happy with the sub-group for a long time, and it's been dragging me down, so it's the right decision for me.
I'll still be in the main group, though, and so I want to stay on good terms with them, but I know at least one person might be spiteful.
I become a complete wreck when there's confrontation, :( and I'm dreading having to find the moment to tell them, as it won't be easy with everything going on, but I want to get it over with.

The huge family problem underlies all of this, and that's not going to go away.:(

Well if it's the best thing for you, better to get it over with - just this evening to get through, and sometimes when you're building yourself up to something it turns out not to be as bad as anticipated. Try not to pre-judge the reaction you might get, they may be more reasonable about it than you are expecting. And hopefully they've got manners enough to smile nicely and just get on with it either way.
Which isn't much comfort now, I know. Can you do anything to take your mind of it for a bit? I have a wilderness masquerading as a garden desperate for another set of hands......

I don't know why the thread is still stretched. I've deleted several images, but it's still stretched! (I've now resized them and reposted them).

Don't know what else to do! :(

Unless it's the ones that have been quoted.

They didn't seem to me to be big enough to cause this amount of stretch, though!

Curious for peoples thoughts on the following, My friend posted on facebook that as part of mental health awareness week, her workplace have asked people to wear odd socks "to raise awareness". My friend was somewhat miffed by this as she doesn;t see how its raising awareness and that it would have been better to have given people info and help to understand MH problems and help others.

I have to say i agree with her, personally i can't quite understand the link between odd socks and MH (unless they are trying to say people with MH problems are "odd" or eccentric? Although i do wear odd socks ) and that it would have been better to empower people with info and tools to help either themselves or others,

I wore odd socks long before it was ever fashionable, mainly because I couldn't stand to see an odd sock go to waste :o

Well, I have lots of pairs of socks all the same, so an odd sock never goes to waste.....eventually, another sock becomes odd and then they can pair up!
