lir, can I come and live at your house? Our bathroom is in need of renovation and. can't fit and bath and a shower so we're taking the bath away and putting in a big shower.
Just been in the supermarket. Walked past the bit where they do the reductions and they had it fenced off with a big queue of people waiting at it. Was just putting my shopping on the belt and the checkout operator said "look at that'. I looked over and they were all pushing and shoving and grabbing stuff off the shelf (and each other's baskets) and refusing to let the people behind have a look. It was pretty scary. There was even a security guard stationed there especially.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -

I've seen fights break out at the yellow sticker zone0 -
My local Tesco, they price up the stuff out the back now then bring it out already reduced, due to a punch up between two customers. Much as I like a bargain, I'm not that fussed about a 10p bag of stir fry.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
It was pretty crazy. Haven't seen scenes like that since I worked Christmas Eve in the M&S foodhall. Old ladies in their twin sets and tweed skirts fighting over cream, people stealing sprouts from other people's baskets etc.
I've seen some things, man, and some stuff.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -

Bit of a question.
Would you say it's human nature or possibly a sympton of mental health that people focus of the negatives & ignore the positives?
I know i certainly do - but then i don't have many positives to focus on & that is speaking objectively :rotfl:
Please note this isn't a critisism of anyone, as everyone has issues - more of a curiosity. What came first, the music or the misery?
Did I listen to pop music because I was miserable? Or was I miserable because I listened to pop music?0 -

Obviously, in today's society, it depends to what lengths it is taken.
Edit. We decided that we're not worriers, we're warriors! Hahaha!(I just lurve spiders!)

I don't think my tendency to focus on the negative is anything to do with mental health - maybe more of either a character trait or learned behaviour for some reason. Although I do think being aware of it means that I'm more likely to give myself a slap once in a while and force myself to consider more positive stuff as well.
(Although my colleague who was constantly wittering on about turning negatives into positives used to completely drive me up the wall.)
I also think that on here people may be more likely to post the difficult stuff because it's a safe environment in which to do it, when there are things you just don't feel able to say in real life.)All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
