Surely on your front, face in hands, all you can see is bath! :D

Beautiful tiles in front on you, or the rest of the room. You can also sort of lounge side wise folding your arms on the side of the bath and rest on the side. But I always feel a bit like a lizard like that. Or a mermaid.

    I prefer to be straight

Speaking as someone who had to have a level access shower put in due to :-
    Falling into the bath
Falling whilst getting out of the bath
Falling whilst under shower which was over the bath
Being unable to get out of the bath once I got in
I think I'll give bath related exploits a miss!

Have you ever been to Bath? :D

  • Is this a place where I can't have a rant?? I don't normally follow this thread but I am very fed up angry and unforgiving today and feel the need to rant!! If I am in the wrong place kick me out don't worry ;)

Hubby had a strop at me this morning because I 'forced' our DD to do an after club that 'nobody' else (ie one friend) was doing, and ended up having a massive argument- he has recently started working from home and obviously I have been looking after the kids the wrong way for the past 12 years and of course she shouldn't have to do a club if her friend isn't doing it

Anyway 10mins after he had stopped shouting he sent me an email apologising - but it has really hurt my feeling and I have sulked and felt 'empty' all day because of it. I know I am over reacting and should forget about it so I have told him to go out tonight (ex colleagues leaving do) so I can wallow on the sofa vodka in hand.....I might even try lying the wrong way in the bath :p

Rant over thanks for listen!! Xx hope everyone is having a nice start to the weekend xx

I'm not going to mention anything about baths
What came first, the music or the misery?
Did I listen to pop music because I was miserable? Or was I miserable because I listened to pop music?

Suppose I mention we can get quite few people in our shower? I've been in it with the architect and a few of the builders at the same time. :D

Our shower is level access because of practicality. But baths really are beneficial for me. They reduce tremendous amounts of pain. I used to have to have help getting out of the bath but don't need it now :D

We are looking for a bath for the next bathroom to do up here. We missed one I loved on ebay :(

    Hallo! spendingmad!

Not surprised you're annoyed. You weren't backed up by OH. Hopefully he didn't rant at you in front of DD.
Assuming he didn't, I wonder why he got so angry about it? He works from home....had he been disturbed by the arguing? Is he at a difficult stage in the work?
Assuming again that he didn't rant in front of DD, at least he had the grace to apologise, but seems strange that he sent you an email and didn't just come and say so to you in person.

The anger may have been due to something else, and you just got in the way. Might be worth having a chat? :A

Hahaha yes. :D. His wife and business partner is on Mse.

But that's the shower not the bath. The bath measures something like 1700 by 800, so not super long, but quite wide, and its extra deep. It fills the width of the whole room but the room is quite long. The shower is therefore also 1700 long, and a bit wider, filling the other end of the room, It has its own little window in it. And that too looks out into the trees.
