Took your advice and decided to ignore the text, not heard owt else.

Today was a better day. Not feeling as stressed, work was quieter and i'm not feeling on edge like i was yesterday. Plus i get to see Swain tomorrow, he went to the seaside on monday and has apparently bought me 2 teddies and won me one on the grabber machines! :D And apparently i'm getting egg and chips for dinner on thursday. (my fave meal, i think i'd put in on my POF profile (god know why :rotfl: ) and he remembered cos the first time i went over i that cooked for me :) )

So mood wise i'm better but physcially i am really really achey and tired. I know i only work part time but honestly it really tires me out :o I don;t know if thats cos of my meds, or just the fact its a pretty physical ob at times (plus standing on my feet the whole shift)

It still looks like a storm tossed island out there.

Morning! Glad you ignored the text MU; I remember when I broke up with my ex BF (well, he dumped me! :p) he kept sending random texts out of the blue, just to make sure I couldn't really forget about him. He only stopped because I told him I fancied someone else... that 'someone else' is now my DH! :)

Pyxis, G&A didn't do anything for me either. I was looking forward to it because everyone told me how great it was, but it was useless!

Tea- when I was growing up we only ever had an electric can opener. When I first came across a manual one I had no idea how to work it, I was like a caveman, bashing and grunting at the tin! :rotfl:

Good morning Team WaS. It's raining here.

I went to bed last night, fell asleep and woke up at 4am with a horrible headache and facial pain. Still feeling a bit icky and trying to decide if I should work from home again or go to work in the hopes the journey will blow a few cobwebs away.

Haha Birdie - yes, that was me too :D I also struggled to unplug things as all our plugs at home had handles on. I must have looked like something out of jungle book :rotfl:.

Glad you ignored the text MU. That was clearly just sent to mess with your head - well done on being strong enough to just breeze past it. I will be taking tips from you in the coming weeks/months!

I am leading some activities at brownies tonight :eek::eek: Talk about in at the deep end!

ETA: sorry you're feeling rubbish code x.

Oooo good luck with the brownies, tea! I hope you really really enjoy it!

I have mental pictures of WaS as a Mary Poppins like figure, being blown across the sky/carried by one of the birds in the wind. (Seriously, hun, hope you're OK and that everything went all right xxx)

My Mam mentioned that she would like to scatter my Dad's ashes on the 17th May as that would have been their 40th Wedding Anniversary. She said that she wanted to be with him for one last time for that date, cue a lot of tears from both of us. It'll be extra emotional but extra special too because of the significance of the day.

I just hope that because of the significance of the day, it won't be too much for her on top of everything else?

I think that any tears shed on that day will be therapeutic ones, remembering a happy life together and lots of special memories for both of you xxxxx
