You should totally go for it Birdie! Both the Etsy shop and your friends cafe. Lots of caf!s where I live have photographs/art work on the walls (lots of inspiration living in the Lakes!) and I love looking at them whilst I have a cuppa! Then again I am an ex art student, so that kind of things really interests me.

Do it, then I can have a nosey! :rotfl: I don't have Facebook.

I'm not a big jewellery fan, but I love that kind of unusual jewellery HBS!

I used to have an etsy shop (photography) and sold on other places too, but it got that I just didn't have the time or inclination to keep it going. I might be inspired to start up again!

Birdie, if your friend puts some of your stuff up for sale, what's the very worst that could happen?

If you're worried that no-one will want to buy any of your stuff at all, which is unlikely from what you've said before, why not try displaying say, three frames? Then if they don't sell, you could say, oh well, those particular designs didn't appeal, let's try a couple of different ones. And you've saved face!

If, as is likely, they do sell, then you can put more up!

A friend with a wall in a cafe offering to display your frames?.......bite her hand off!

Ooooh... maybe I will... It's tough though because most of my things are custom orders so quite difficult to sell the concept somewhere like Etsy. At least I can use FB to show off the orders so people can see what I've done for others and ask me to make something special for them off the back of that. Will look into it.

ETA: Cross posted with you Pyxis! Maybe I should just take the leap, I'm seeing my friend on Saturday so I'll ask her about it and organise to take some through to her. Eeek!

Does LARP use the d20 (and all the rest)? Many, many years ago I played pen and paper D&D and still have all my dice, but haven't played since university.

Nope, LARP uses foam weapons and shields I don't think I've tabletopped since I discovered I could run round a field and do it for real
