Making up for a particularly !!!!!! day
  • Awwww, Mr Cat loves you, Melly! It's clear to see! Sorry your day was horrid, though. Have a hug.

Silly P cat, tea! At least he saved you a job!

I now ask for Giant Microbes for my birthday and Christmas, sadly Milliefleur just looked at me weirdly and bought a tin of biscuits instead! Have I mentioned that I really, really want a Leafeon? WaSp is still saying no, I may resort to dramatic sobbing in a minute, haven't tried that yet!

My medication has finally started to wear off. It's left with the choice of either living with the pain or asking for it to be upped. If I ask for it to be upped, I risk having to live with some really unwanted side effects. (which are currently memory and concentration issues, mostly)

The last time they changed my medication, (and that change was minor) I had 2 weeks of just wanting to throw up. Urgh.

I currently have to take 2 medications (and considering asking for a third) just for the side effects of it.

  • I really hope that you can manage to do that, melly. It sounds like it would help your OH a lot. The worse is over now so hopefully you can both relax a bit and never have to see those people again unless you wish to. OH is very lucky to have you, you have been such a support to him.

Sorry you're having such a hard time melly, glad Mr Cat is at least making things more bearable (he looks lovely :) )

Indie med changes are never pleasant. Ive been having a side effect from mine that whilst not bothering me, if i tell my GP she will probably take me off the med in question (happened last time this side effect happened) but i really dont want to come off it as despite the weight gain side affect it works wonders at keeping my mood stable

WaS Leafeon is beautiful :D i collect pokemon cards and if i ever get a Leafeon would send you it :D Do you think WaSP might be persuaded to buy it as a ....um....being awesome present? Because you're awesome and surely that warrants presents? :D:p

I am broody for a cat.

I have had a good week. Thank yous from people. Well dones.

I enjoyed my class. Had a great conversation with DS. Even got some sunshine this afternoon. The 'Forgotten Girl' book that I linked in earlier this week arrived, I am on pg 33. It is really good, and amusing in places, albeit a serious subject matter. (I take back my previous comments about it maybe not being genuine - it reads true enough to me). I saw some family members who I was worried about earlier in the week, and they seem more accepting of their bad situation. I have lost nearly a stone and one of the school mums had noticed (unlike DH, who bluntly informed me the other day that he would only notice if I lost half my body weight; I think he was very tired and not meaning to be quite so insensitive). I have been taking a vitamin/mineral supplement too. As well as practising from 100 push ups website. All in all, everything going very well.

Came back, and am very tired. Why did I log on to the business email? Got an email that upset me, even though it is run of the mill bad news, ie 1 bad comment compared to literally 100 good things. I can feel the suicidal thoughts creeping around the fringes. But why? The only thing different is that I am physically tired. So what are the physical triggers? It's not dehydration because I have been really good with water and fluids. It's not blood sugar. So what it is?
:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.
