How strange. Got a phone call and didn't recognise the number so didn't answer. They didn't leave a message and google came up blank so when they called again curiousity got the better of me. It was the hospital. There was a cancellation so I'm in to see the neurologist tomorrow!!
Edit: well done for the phone call tea. I used to work in a call centre and enjoyed it but for some reason other phone calls freak me out.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
Hugs to all that need them, the duvet fort is open for business for anyone that needs it!
I don't have a blog although I have often thought about it. I don't think I am particularly interesting though and I would probably end up boring everyone to tears.
Loving the photos!
Hope today's review went well dragonette!
That sounds like a nightmare gemini! Big hugs.
Good to see you Joan!
Good news and bad news from me. I have been unable to have green curry or pad thai (I love Thai food) from anywhere but one restaurant. Supermarket curry paste or other restaurants food has me running to the toilet and generally feeling ill. I had no idea why.
A few days ago WaSp and I made a green curry from scratch and it was yummy and I was absolutely fine. Last night we made pad thai. I have spent the entire day in the bathroom, been sick twice, stomach cramps and an itchy red rash all over me. The only different ingredient we used from the green curry was sesame oil. I think I have found what causes me a problem so this means I can substitute it for olive oil and peanut butter.
Now can I feel better please? I feel terrible and have thrown up my medication.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

Oh, and in amusing news remember I said that we got on well with the fire alarm fitters and they left WaSp the old fire alarm box to play with? They turned up again today and handed WaSp a big bag of old fire alarm boxes from various jobs they did that they would otherwise throw away! It's very sweet that they remembered him and he is happy to have new circuit boards to play with. Well, I'm back from London, we had a really good time.
The speedboat down the Thames was awesome with James Bond music blasting out! You had to really hold on at some points!
I always feel really down when returning off a holiday/break though.
It's like when you're away, it's escapism, but then it's back to real life and worries etc.
Any room in that duvet fort? I bring Hotel Chocolat with me!0 -
Aw, it can be hard coming home from a holiday, Georgie. Can you have a treat in the next few days to give you something to look forward to? You are most certainly allowed in the duvet fort with Hotel Chocolat!
On the subject of nice food I have my first Panettone sitting here! I have never tried it before, it is out of my price range but it arrived in my Approved Food lucky box! I know others on here like it, so do I just cut a slice and eat it or butter it or what?Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

I just eat it like cake.....cut a slice and eat!
Never tried it with butter but in my opinion it doesn't need it!
