Aww - I want to go home and fill my house with cute animals! But I'm pretty sure P cat wouldn't approve :rotfl:. He's very much in charge

I got offered a puppy today as my friend's cousin's dog had an accidental litter but I had to say no
For a rescue, dumbass dog is a total diva. He loves other dogs but prefers to have all the cuddles and bones to himself. Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -

When I got my first dog, as a puppy, I already had three cats, one of whom was very strong-willed indeed. Yes, there was a lot of hissing and arching, but she soon put pup in her place, ie lowest of the low, and eventually they'd all snuggle up together.
I think it's easier when the cat is a dominant personality, as they soon sort the newcomer out! One of my cats was very timid, he was even scared of me! Derr! For him, the pup was the last straw, and after a few weeks he decided to live next door! I think a house with a noisy human plus two small children plus two other cats and now a pup was all too much. Next door were two elderly humans with two elderly cats and peace and quiet!
However, my Queen Bee cat kept total order, although she never got the better of me! I can remember the scowls and filthy looks she gave me after each battle! But she loved me really! She was a wonderful cat!(I just lurve spiders!)

Awww, what adorable photo's! Totally made my my day! Gitdog looks so comfy and your little ones Melly have such sweet faces, including new kitty! I do love hearing about animal stories on here, it always makes me smile.
I seem to have medication missing. My Gp's has introduced a temporary policy of 72 hours for a prescription to be ready due to lack of doctors (there are currently 2 for 10,000 people). I wasn't aware of this and put my prescription in as normal. As my GP isn't even in the office there is nothing they can do, but did say they will try and ask tomorrow if he can do it early. All they could suggest is that I go to A&E and get enough to cover me which is a ridiculous waste of the NHS.
So I have spare anti-psychotics which is the most important one and spare anti-depressants but no codeine or Tramadol. Not only does this mean I am going to hurt it also means that after taking them for 8 years I am going to go into withdrawal. I am not looking forward to the next 48 hours.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

WaS - you can buy codeine and Tramadol over the counter, if you are desperate. (What a waste of your money, though!

Ooh WaS that's horrible. Just the thought of a night without codeine gives me cold sweats.0
