I hope that you are feeling better code? We are on the same pain medication and it has just the same effect on me, I sympathise.

Tea, that has always been a pattern when my relationships ended, too. I would also end up back with the person for several goes at trying it again until I finally held firm and ended it for good. I always found people seemed to suddenly want me again when I showed that I was strong enough to walk away.

WaSp is a lot happier today because I asked his gaming hero if WaSp could join his server, too and he agreed. WaSp is still slightly sulking because I wasn't asked to join because I was really good at the game, but just because I get on well with the guy. Apparently this isn't fair and not how gaming should work. You are supposed to earn your place on one of the top gamers servers. WaSp now feels he has been allowed to join not on his gaming prowess, but as a favour to his girlfriend, which is kind of true. I am still very amused.

That's pretty sad if that's how it does work though WaS, remember the good old days when gaming was about having fun with friends?! It should be about playing with people you enjoy playing with, not putting up with people who might not be particularly nice or fun, but have the right score! I must admit that the only game I play is The Sims though and have avoided any of the social stuff they push on you so have no idea what I'm talking about!

Thanks WaS automotive aerospace and oil and gas are HSE holy grails cos of the risk factor. This role is 3.5 miles from home so Woohoo.

Other one is automotive and 2.5 miles from home they're trying to get an internal candidate first.

Now for the big players at least who play on multi-servers it's all down to being the best of the best and earning your place on one of the top servers. Having said that, WaSp's hero obviously isn't like that at all because he knows I don't play Minecraft but still invited me just because we share a sense of humour and get on well. He offered to teach me how to play but if I get personal tuition from one of the top gamers of the genre WaSp might just shoot himself! WaSp won't even message him in the game because he's shy, they haven't even spoken yet...

I do find it really funny because Wasp is in awe of this guy's gaming skills and of him in general. He is just an ordinary person and that is all I approached him as, as I know nothing about it. He is funny and laid back with an ordinary life with his wife and daughter away from being online (an absolutely beautiful baby girl who he dotes on and who he has shown me many photo's of. He takes care of her as his work is at home online while his wife works outside of the home) and doesn't seem to take it half as seriously as those do who look up to him.

Wasp is currently whining because he doesn't know all of the add-ons that the guy has written for the game and is worried that he will look stupid. I am trying very hard not to burst out laughing! Gaming is serious business!

All my EHS experience is in rail - very niche as we don't even use the same regulatory body as anyone else (ORR, not HSE).

On the subject of LinkedIn I have an account that my teacher friend made for me. I have no idea how it works but people link to me and give me recommendations and I just stare at it confusedly. As I can't work I don't really need one, plus my teacher friend made it look so impressive that I cringe everytime I see it.
