There may have been some, ahem, activity
(in my defence, we'd both run out of lives on candy crush so needed something to fill the time :rotfl:).
Oo er :rotfl:What came first, the music or the misery?
Did I listen to pop music because I was miserable? Or was I miserable because I listened to pop music?0 -
Ok.... is there anyone else that can do the work, or at least some of it? Is there anyone you could direct from home (via phone) re. the basics? How sleepy will the painkillers make you? Are you able to take some now, go back to bed for a couple of hours then go into work later?
Will have another think, see if I can come up with anything more useful.
(((hugs)))
There is probably someone else who could do the work but I suspect I'm the only one with the correct permissions. I'd also have to explain how to do it. The painkillers I have are strong co-codamol which makes me sleepy and tramadol which knocks me out. I'm not much use on either.Whereabouts is the pain?
Is it musculoskeletal pain?
Would it be cheaper for work to send the laptop to you by courier?
I could maybe get someone to bring me my laptop (my team are nice like that) but its locked down and only I have the key. Its my old faithful facial pain and its windy outside which makes it so much worse. And not to be left out, my lower back has decided to join the party. I'm currently on OTC pain killers, on my way to work but if it gets worse, I'm taking my laptop home. I could have called in sick but I did that on Friday and they count the weekend as sick days
I do have a lovely app on my phone that will call a taxi to take me to the station if I need to later on. You don't have to talk to anyone and it shows you who has picked up the call and where they are. Isn't technology brilliant?Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
Had a confusing weekend :undecided. FOH was at home much more than usual, was strangely helpful (even cooked breakfast yesterday - this is unheard of in recent years), and we actually had a nice time just hanging out together. There may have been some, ahem, activity
(in my defence, we'd both run out of lives on candy crush so needed something to fill the time :rotfl:).
Obviously it hasn't changed anything in the grand scheme of things. We had a conversation last night (perfectly polite) about places he's looking at to rent, sorting out the joint account etc.
It's just messed with my head - why couldn't he have been like this for the last two years?
Ah, the old break up sh@g. I'd expect that to happen a couple more times before this is all over. He's on his best behaviour now because he knows your situation is temporary I guess.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -

Remember I signed WaSp up to play with his gaming hero who live streams and is big in the gaming community this month? Well, there were some problems working things out due to a broken site so I have been chatting to his hero sorting things out and we got on quite well. I have just received an invitation onto this guys personal game server to play with him anytime I want for free, Wasp hasn't! I don't even play the game in question! Wasp is swearing at me and sulking quite a lot and I am giggling!
This is hilarious! Can just imagine my DH's reaction if something like this happened to us! :rotfl: The Rainforest trip sounds amazing too, so exciting! :j
Sorry you're in pain Code, I think they might just have to push the deadline back, even if you do go into work you won't be much good if you're feeling so bad. I wouldn't worry too much about it costing them money, in my workplace every project goes over the deadline and costs more than what they (optimistically!) budgeted! They have to allow for it and get on with it. I'd say call work, tell them you feel terrible, take some painkillers and go to bed, like Tea said and see how you feel in the afternoon.
Sorry things are confusing Tea. I think that it's hit him that you mean business now and he's actually really going to lose you so might be making an effort? Don't let it mess with your head, stay strong! 1 nice weekend does not make up for 10 years of !!!!!ry!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
I have nearly always indulged in break up sex but it has only dragged things out in my head and hasn't made a jot of difference overall. (Will probably be different for other people).
Littlewing had a 13 hour sleep last night, after a lovely day, so she has skipped back of to school well-rested and happy.
I will hopefully have a very quiet day at work today so I can get done a report that has been hanging over me.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -
Hi WW - think you're right about it just dragging things out in your head. Fingers crossed I have learnt my lesson!
It's tricky. Obviously I don't want things to end in a big shouting match and lots of bad feeling. But it's difficult to remove the emotion of the last ten years when trying to be friendly and dignified.
In some ways it will be easier when we don't actually live together anymore. But then in some ways it will be absolutely horrible. Seems strange to me to be making these final decisions when we do live together and things aren't that bad. I suppose I'd assumed that if we got to this point we'd barely be speaking and we'd have some time living apart before we made the big decisions of things like transfer of equity.
But hey ho.... enough rambling0 -

I think for me, the real difficulty came when I was thinking that we were sleeping together (aka just sex) and therefore there must still be 'something' there, and he (they - at different times) thought that 'this doesn't mean anything' was perfectly clear and legitimate!:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them.
