Should 18y/o son move out?

My car is a pile of c##p and i had to buy it back for £50 as the OR deemed it not essential.
I work close by and use firms van.
But i use the car often for shopping and picking up kids and also visiting family.
Sometimes i feel like a cab service.
And the tax is due at the end of this month followed by the M.O.T.
The annoying thing is i would have had a discharge 3 months ago,but i decided to add a measly £60 per month my son was contributing on the IPO, AND THIS WAS ONLY WHEN HE HAD WORK.
Just wished he stayed on at college for 2 more months.0 -
Just a thought,i may be paranoid but does anyone think OR's read these forums or are they too busy.

I can't remember where I saw it, but there's definitely at least one member from an OR's office on this board or DFW, & they have responded to previous posts, so they must be reading some of them. Someone with time on their hands (or in need of a headache) could decide to go through the posts, putting together people's life histories from the succession of their posts. I doubt that they'd go to the trouble in reality, but I don't think describing yourself or the person you met/spoke in great detail in a post is a good idea to be on the safe side.whitehartman wrote: »Just a thought,i may be paranoid but does anyone think OR's read these forums or are they too busy.

Or you could start misdirection - I am 6ft with red hair and glasses, when you're really 4 ft nothing, with blonde hair and 20/20 vision

They certainly do - at least one person, from the Insolvency Service - addicted2chocolate - is a regular poster. Usually good advice, I hasten to add.
But don't worry - there are so many bankruptcies - we only see a tiny proportion here - that no one is going to work out who you really are.
Also, no-one here is suggesting ANYTHING that is wrong, illegal or prejudicial to your particular case.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
