I've been reading this thread, hoping you'd post to say you'd found it......
This morning my sister whatsapp's me to ask me if I know my mom has my passport? I was "!!!!!!, do you mean she has my passport, my new one?".
My sister said yes, I almost had heart failure, I didn't even notice it was missing and I have a holiday in 54 days and my mom is in SA with my passport. Luckily a friend is coming to UK tomorrow and I've told them to give it to her and I will go to London to collect it.
I would've been running around like a headless chicken day before my holiday! LUCKY ESCAPE!
I wanted to kill my 80 year old mother, I bet she thought it was hers without checking it!!!!!!!! She's lucky she's 10 000 miles away!
What's the betting that she used your passport for her journey home? And if you look carefully, you will find that you have her passport in your house?0 -
Still not found the passport. However, I have found a photocopy of the emergencies page. There seems to be numbers down the bottom (made out of dots). Is this the passport number? Seems to have the same amount of numbers as a passport number does.0

Nope. I looked when I got home, only my sons passports and mine isn't with them. Thankfully it is back on UK soil now, will collect this weekend. Pheewew
BosPeeps will you be applying for a replacement? How long till you travel?0 -
photome It makes the passport process quicker
MasterPoo I shall be. No idea now. I think the trip is going to be rescheduled as someone else has passport issues and also because of recent events. Think we'll wait a couple of months for things to fully calm down.0 -

Well I hope you haven't been a victim of ID theft! Do you have to report it lost/stolen?0 -
Try looking in the recesses of your sofa and armchairs. Amazing what can hide in them.
Hope you find them.
