60 Cyclists To Sue Edinburgh Council

Many people such as you, Altarf and Johno are prejudiced against cyclists.
I am not prejudiced against cyclists, I just dislike thoughtless self-centred individuals, who deem their needs are greater than anyone else.
Like the !!!!!! on a bike who almost ran me over this morning, cycling full pelt on the pavement (not a shared path) round a blind bend.
Maybe it is just co-incidence that there is a significant overlap in the two groups.0 -

and there it is.
I was nearly head on with a car going through a red light at speed today.
No doubt thats the exception to the rule for your purposes.0 -
This is the kind of thing i'm talking about. Who in their right mind would cycle like this? Even get's his fellow cyclist angry!

Someone who is hopefully carrying an organ donor card, so that their inevitable death will not be pointless.
Let's up they don't take a pedestrian with them.0 -
Or like the !!!!!! in a car who almost ran me over this morning while on a pedestrian crossing or the !!!!!! pedestrian who walked from between parked cars directly in front of my car while staring at their phone.I am not prejudiced against cyclists, I just dislike thoughtless self-centred individuals, who deem their needs are greater than anyone else.

"thoughtless self-centred individuals, who deem their needs are greater than anyone else."
That describes motorists far more than cyclists. The vast highway network has engineered to accommodate motorists to a much greater extent than other users. Despite this motorists endlessly complain about any delay or inconvenience to them while causing thousands of deaths per year..
Do you spend much time on the motoring forum berating them?.0 -

Nope. There are a few bad motorists, there are lots and lots of bad cyclists.
And they then moan and whine about how awful it is that people lump them together, when they display the same characteristics.0 -

Lol! There were idiot cyclists in the clips!
*slow hand clap*
Is it starting to sink in yet...? What's the common denominator with the people behaving like idiots on the road...?
Go on -- you can do it! No, it's not the mode of transport... You've invalidated your own argument there. Sigh... I obviously overestimated your intelligence.
Okay, let's keep playing your game, if we must. This is what drivers do -- street racing:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-20177749
Look at this driver who flipped his car containing a 4-year-old kid into a hedge at 100mph on country lanes:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-tyne-31066447
And this lunatic is a habitual offender, having been involved in two high-speed pursuits in the last six months. It's a miracle he didn't kill anyone:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-gloucestershire-26025613
This guy pushes his car to 180mph -- lethally dangerous in any conditions:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-19358907
So... think hard about this (if you can). The common factor in all these incidents is driving, right? So drivers are inherently reckless idiots and all cars should be banned from the road?
What? You mean that most drivers don't drive like that and I've merely selected the worst examples of driving to show you? True.
So... again. Wrack your brains. What does that say about the validity of your ignorant prejudices against cyclists...? Ah. Some people are lost causes!0
