What do you want him to say?

It's still early days with TalkTalk and Sky also showing interest. There's nothing more to comment on.

And it's not Three but their parent company that are interested in O2.

If the deal did go ahead they might merge the two or they might not. Plus there will be regulatory concerns

Far too early for anything other than speculation.

Nothing on this is going forward until BT finalise the deal to take over EE

How do you figure that? Hutchison wanting to buy O2 is a completely seperate issue. The BT/EE deal could fall through while Hutchison successfully buys O2 (or vice versa).

There is no requirement for one to complete before the other can go ahead. Both deals are actually at the same stage of exclusive negotiations now.

More details of the Hutchison deal can be read at http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-30946005

Good to see the two companies that virtually offer no loyalty to customers on upgrades.
  • Out of curiosity - reports I have seen say that prices could go up if Three (in whatever capacity) do buy out O2. Would this only be applicable to new customers or would they be able to put up the costs to current O2 customers also?

Additionally, if - as an O2 customer - you do not wish to be adjoined to the Three network for whatever reason, does this mean you can leave your contract?

I for one know that I signed my contract with O2 and not Three and under no circumstances would I willingly choose Three as my supplier and will not be impressed if/when this takeover happens.

If this was a job, new contracts would be issued etc etc so where would O2 customers stand?

STOP TROLLING MY POSTS TO PUT ME DOWN

Have you had some sort of breakdown? What are you on?

Where am I trolling your posts? You made an ignorant comment, I answered...

i have read many stories on this and guess what i have relatives who work for Hutchison and its not a done deal as if the BT/EE deal falls through BT will go for o2.
You have relatives working in Hong Kong? Well done.
Ofcom wont all Hutchison to go for o2 until the BT deal is sorted which is almost certain to be approved and go through.

OFCOM will treat the 2 acquisitions as completely seperate issues, if either or both are referred, so will the CMA or the EU.

There is absolutely no fact in your statement of "nothing will go forward until BT finalise a deal for EE", it is just your uninformed opinion masquerading as a fact.

While both your links are way out of date (both are over a month old) the Telegraph one supports what I've said and just shows you really don't know what you are taking about.

I'm interested in your rationale though, how did you think a report dated 15/12/2014 would benefit your argument for something announced on 23/01/2015?

No Hutchison do have a UK office, i suggest you read up on these and yes your ARE TROLLING my posts as all you do its make personal attacks against me which i suggest you go read the forum rules about TROLLS

When you say Hutchison, do you mean Three?

The Hutchison being discussed here is Hutchison Whampoa, not Three, I doubt any Three staff are privy to the current discussions between Hutchison Whampoa and Telefonica.
i suggest you go read the forum rules about TROLLS

LOL, you join a few weeks ago and now want to give orders about reading forum rules about trolling? OK :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Please link to these personal attacks, they must be happening unconsciously...
