Well I would claim to do the same, but then again; I'm also safely sat behind a keyboard.

I`m secure enough to know what i would do , if someone strode up to my car door and opened it , if your not , then thats your lookout

    Assault first, ask questions later.
"But I was only going to tell you that your brake lights aren't working!"

If you need to open someones door and reach in , to tell them that , then your approach work , needs , err work

    His professional standards department might.

What if the driver hadn't taken it well and complained he'd come round and threatened him?

He witnessed a crime and followed it up...

Well, if it makes you feel any better; I strongly believe you'd knock seven bells of s*** out of the assailant; even if it were the incredible hulk.

You have an inferiority complex, and self loathing issues, I feel for you, chin up, it’s Friday!

I hope you're not misusing the PNC.

    Don't be silly.

Nope, just a self-preservative intention to deal with each situation on it's own merits; and a recognition of how easy & irrelevant it is to portray oneself as the 'hard man' on the Internet.

But yes it's great that it's Friday. In a few hours time I'll be drinking away the memory of nearly being killed.

Id love to ditch the car and drive to work each day , but the chances of getting killed by some ignorant cretin is far too high , no matter how much care you take personally , i have two kids and a wife , so car it is , at least you stand a chance in that

Have a nice weekend , get a few bottles of real ale in

What would go through your head if the situation was reversed? Ie: Cyclist cuts up a motorist, motorist pursues, jumps out of his car and grabs hold of your bike to stop you getting away.
Would you be thinking " I'm about to get a good telling off" or he's going to start a fight/nick your bike?

I'd think carefully before you go grabbing someones keys from their car , next time you might not walk away, and I don't mean you deserve it, just that as others have said there's plenty of folk that would of been incredibly intimidated by your actions and lashed out at the first opportunity .
