Just came back from the most complicated shop of my life! How do you lot do this without going crazy?! I was staring at my phone checking and re-checking things. Good job it was only 5 items :rotfl:

Morries vs ? using cos and s-tize.

Seabrook lattice crisps £1.99 (-£1 cos) (1000 match points?)
Phileas Fogg crisps £1.99 (-1.99 cos) (1000 match points?)
Lindt Lindor Truffles £4.00 (-£4 cos) (500 match points?)
Hardys Stamp Shiraz £7.25 (2470 match ps?, 1500 more points)
    Betty Crocker Pankcake mix £1 (-£1 s-tize)

(NOTE: Exactly how I got the match points is a bit of a guess. According to msm A should have been 5.06 cheaper, and T 4.97, but 4970 is what I got).

Recycled my £15 of biccy vouchers, plus £1.23 of actual cash, and have cashback of £7.99, and £6.47 of morries vouchers.. so I think thats cost me £1.77 :)

I was actually thinking today as I popped round asda they all seemed at ease the muggles :D
Not one of them re positioning items in their trolley
None of them seemed to be counting
Never saw one trolley stacked high with 1 particular item
No one peeling the outer leaf off a sprout for their gerbil
No one on their knees trying to reach to the back of the shelf or standing on the bottom shelf to kindly restock for Asda
No checking phones, scanning barcodes in fact it looked like a leisurely stroll just throwing random items in with no concern for size/price/old new packaging nothing
Not even a flump to be seen

    Oh, :hello: everyone.

Obviously not picked up (at least) one item for A (are the Seabrooks Lattice crisps available on a.com in many areas?), so A came back not as cheap as £5.06 cheaper so it fell back on T £4.97 cheaper.

    Hi,

Not sure if it's been mentioned as no time to read back ATM but the Hardys semillon in morries is now comparing to sadas lower price making it (I think) 3.17 a bottle. Until Sunday I believe. Hth

I got the Hardys shiraz at lunchtime, which I was also expecting to get at 3.17 (all the prices and points are the same), but it seems to be comparing to one of the places that have it at 4.78, which would make it 3.28 a bottle. (I can't be certain because you can't actually see what the match points are for and I bought 5 items - see my shop for details).

(Match and More app doesn't show the shiraz for some reason, but its there in store. In fact there were dozens of wines with points on, and I can only see 4 on the app).

Link to an offer for these in Debenham's email this morning. Are there men that would actually wear these. Or have I led a sheltered life. :o

From a HD muggle shop last night, just checking the APG results (not expecting a return but did in fact generate £2.22 APG), I noticed this on the AvM comparison
    2nrj8ex.jpg

The Quorn Chicken Style Burgers are in the 3 for £5 offer, hence £3.33 for 2 ... and is comparing to Morries at £0.93 ... but the Burgers aren't available at Morries on MSM:think:
    out94w.jpg

I can't see the burgers listed on the Morries grocery website, and am not able to check price instore, but would doubt very much that they are that price instore.
They are, check Savvy's list on the first page.

Right. That is obvious now you say it :)

Everyone ignore my previous confusion about the wine comparing.

Think my brain is fried. Maybe drinking wine and eating chocolate will help.

4286 people at match 1 plus 40% would mean 6000.4 people at match 2

The announcer is wrong because he said exactly

    or another way.

If there are 6000 people at match 2 then divided by 1.4 would mean 4285.7 people at match 1. Again, the key is the use of the word "exactly"

They don't mean that though - we have news presenters on the BBC - one in particular seems to me although I won't name and shame - says things like "It's exactly 4.31." In fact it's 4.31 and 15 seconds when he (it is a he:D) says that. So, it's not exactly 4.31 at all.

Except that, I suppose you could argue that anything from 4.31.00 to 4.31.59.9999999... is all "4.31":rotfl:. To me, however, 4.31.00 is 4.31 - although the digital transmission always makes them about 4 seconds late by the time what they've said in actuality gets to us. (And, on the i-Player, they're over a minute behind, even when watching "live", so that the time check, really, isn't exact.) Only I would 'know', or be concerned, with such things:rotfl:.:D:rotfl:

Anyway, I guess the word "exactly" isn't meant to be taken literally;):rotfl:. (I've concluded that nothing that the vast majority of people ever say ever is:rotfl:.)
