Good afternoon, I think these are a Del Boy special:rotfl:,

My DS got some Del Boy PJ's :D

  • Spurred on by Evangeline's list I had a look the items on A.com and msm. Unfortunately, the best I could come up with is this..

These are 2 pictures of what I believe are meant to be the same item (and probably are). The one on the left is the pic on A.com where it is called John Frieda Radiant Red Original For All Shades of Red Hair Shampoo and the one on the right is on msm where it is called John Frieda Radiant Red Colour Protect Magnifying Shampoo.

Just need to get to my local to scan the item to see what it comes up as.

but what if the 4286th person left approximately 7/10 of the way through the 1st match. surely the announcer would then be correct :D
...or what if the 4286th person was involved in a horrific hotdog stand accident and had his arm severed and so became 7/10th of who he/she was?:D

I got the Hardys shiraz at lunchtime, which I was also expecting to get at 3.17 (all the prices and points are the same), but it seems to be comparing to one of the places that have it at 4.78, which would make it 3.28 a bottle. (I can't be certain because you can't actually see what the match points are for and I bought 5 items - see my shop for details).

(Match and More app doesn't show the shiraz for some reason, but its there in store. In fact there were dozens of wines with points on, and I can only see 4 on the app).

I haven't tried the Shiraz but the semillon picks up asdas price now. That was this aft around 2ish. Only got wine and coriander so easier to tell. Wish it gave a more detailed points list!!

Hi, I bought the Hardys stamp red wine on Monday. I bought 3 bottles. I got the match points but the More points didn't show on receipt. After much discussion with CS, the store manager was called. He said give it 72 hours and they should appear. I kept checking my app and they never did, so today I went back in. CS just added 4500 points on for me with no hesitation.

I also wanted to point out to everyone, that in my A today there were no 25ml JF products at all. Only 50ml and they were all marked as 3 for £9. There is definitely something strange going on with the 25ml serum.

I bought the Simple stuff again so I will post results in a mo.

Looking forward to Valentines day everyone? :smileyhea

Good afternoon Elite. Just popping on with a question...not shopping related

I started home educating dd2 just before Christmas and we've been doing really well...that was until this question on reverse percentages:

There are 6000 people at an ice hockey match.

The announcer says this is exactly 40% more people that the previous match.

Explain why the announcer is incorrect.

We've worked out the percentages and get that there would have bee 4286 people at the previous match. I don't get why the announcer is wrong! Any Elite maths geniuses out there?

    6000 / 1.40 = 4285.714285714286 - not a whole number of people

    4285 * 1.40 (100% + 40%) = 5999 people
    4286 * 1.40 (100% + 40%) = 6000.4 people

edit: really should catch up instead of replying as i go :rotfl:

There is no glitch here, as the A mbuy is picked up and the Quorn Chicken Burgers are 93p in M.
