    Morning all :D

Does anyone have any ideas about what the T Boost flash sale will be like? I see they have Pizza Express starting on the 23rd - the week my kitchen is getting refitted  If I hold off until then to get my Pizza Express tokens I might get a little more value, and I'm going to want to get out of the house after a week of refurbishing noise :D

I got all flustered in M's this weekend and I think bought some of the wrong biscuits - I got loads of More points but not as many Match as I was expecting. Note to self - make a list!
  • Good morning.

Quite cold here this morning, but not as much frost as there as been.

Have a lovely day all :)

Ive not been on for ages I've been lurking a bit... My ds is still seizure free since jan 4th thank god.

I've done a shop and a muggle shop ill post results later mine was udis so not sure whether working. I did a persil just tried one and came up as £6.85 though id let hampydodums know as also gets stuff from hub :)
My OH was having a spat with henlans on the dark side over the biscuits.
He is running the London marathon for Hemihelp as one of the conditions of my ds is a right sided hemiplegia (this may be to do with why he had a seizure) DS had an EEG at GOSH last Wednesday so we will be getting the results soon I hope and hope they are good.
Its freezing down here even the inside of my windscreen was frozen.

Best to all and enjoy your tea and coffee if you've got one in front of you now (i have)
Don't forget o2 priority ill be stocking up on lunches in whsmith the sell by dates are really good on the sarnies u usually get three days and a decent selection of drinks and sweets/crisps/ snacks. my ds loves prawn sandwiches ... strange i know for a seven year old but its a change from my home made ones.

    Morning all :hello:

It's dark and still mostly night time here!

I agree with aau1 (but couldn't have put it as well), the gist of what I've read on here was that some people had switched from 10p sweets to tins for foodbank and getting extra biscuits above what they would have normally.

There was a post about an encounter with a non-mse who was condescending about premium biscuits at the foodbank drop off point, the response on here was 'oh how horrible'

Unless we have had posts removed... or maybe because I don't read between the lines and haven't picked up on something?

Personally I only give items I would be happy using myself - my local one has a shopping list of what's in need and they have biscuits on there.

I don't mean to be argumentative but I like to think we can discuss such things on here, this place is so good when it's running peacefully.

Happy Monday everyone - have a good one whatever you are doing!

I'm with you On this. I thought that the mention of food banks etc was a suggestion for fillers. I've never felt pressured into it and if more mentioned I thought it was genuine suggestion to be helpful not nagging into 'doing good'.

I am definitely of the opinion that charity etc should be done as a genuine concern rather than for show but I felt that's how it was being done but people mentioned it as part of conversation or to mention a local drop off etc.

I know I mentioned ringing mine but because they had said they had a plethora of soup etc but wanted other things so worth thinking about as surely it's more helpful to give things they'd actually use? Especially if they are fillers for you.

I'm still of the opinion that a varied outlook on this thread is better. And a debate is better than waffle about udi.

    Just my tuppence. :X

Troutabout, :j glad ds is doing well.

Yes it is a new month and new limit though no one knows yet if it is still working today.

My shop from yesterday is stuck as points and hasn't converted to vouchers yet (together with £10 from Saturday too).

    Hth

    I'm hoping they'll exchange £2 for £10 instead of £2.50

That's a 20% saving and the least i would expect from a flash sale
