Done a wee coupon shop as well. £20.09 down to £4.55 with a £7.14 pp back  first one I've done in a while....those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

You standing still or will you step into the great unknown,
Is yours to decide, this is your life.

Maybe not popularbut I just say what others are thinking? it's fine to be giving stuff to the food banks and I'm sure they welcome it......but has anyone ever stopped to think how utterly condescending they sound?? I have free biscuits.....I won't eat them so I'll give them to the food bank. Seriously folks, if you have been involved with the people who really need food banks ( not the ones that take the !!!!) you wouldn't dare be so condescending :-( why should someone be grateful for 'fillers' that you wouldn't dare eat yourself?
this has bugged me lately. in my experience food bank users are no better or worse than us. they are people who have fallen on hard times. Could be you or I? so why do they deserve the stuff that isn't good enough for you?
I don't think anyone is trying to be condescending, if that's what u feel. I do hope this dosent put people off donating. I do actually buy things I wouldn't use ie tinned veg, long life milk ect as I have asked Salvation Army what they need, I also buy biscuits for a treat for them. If you have ever seen people so hungry they eat the grass I know they would not care what food was donated. I think people have got xtra biscuits & are being thoughtfully & donating, instead of being a miser & hoarding them for leaner times, & I personally loved one I read about giving biscuits to charity shops for their cuppa, it is ALLWAYS so good to give, however we come about getting that item. Sorry for going on, hope everyone has a good day0 -

Hi not been on for a very long time due to changing my working hours better for my kids but no good for my glitching. :-0. No more biscuits bought here today but what i have bought has been widely spread around amongst family, school and work.ive got to admitt i dont do food banks as fillers i buy weather it be smart price stuff or not gets used in our house.my kids love the smart price noodles.
The only charitable thing i have done with my biccies is take some to the rvi hospital for their tiny lives charity so they will go to parents that are sitting around incubators all day and to the nurses that help care for them. I dont feel guilty for not giving to food banks and neither should anyone else im pretty sure that we all do something somewhere along the lines for charity.0 -

Evangeline1971, good luck with the interview, don't let the boss get you down, you are obviously so much better than her xx.
Snap, sorry to hear about the problems with fourp, but at least his mood will be finite, you just need to take a deep breath and carry on. At least it will make work feel so much better xx
ThanksShe's out shopping for a couple of hours so I'm getting some peace from her  Before she went though I noticed her putting stickers through the shredder again  I already told her that it's in the manual not to put stickers in but she's ignored me. If she dares to blame me again next time it jams I will expode! Of course the cutters are going to get stuck up if you put sticky stuff through them, she's a total moron
Ah that feels better now  Rant over0 -

I'm going to put my pennies worth in, I don't entirely agree with you FC.
I think that some of our glitches are an opportunity for some people that maybe cannot afford to usually donate to charities/ foodbanks to give a little. Not sure if I am sounding condescending now.
I have always felt that true charity giving is private to the individual, there was a very interesting radio 4 program about the subject while I was driving back yesterday. Everyone has their own gifts and talents and giving is not always about things/money our time can be equally as generous.
No one should feel pressured to do anything they are not comfortable with, what one person feels is a worthwhile cause another may feel something else is more important to them. No one should judge what each other do. :A0 -
