I'm hoping they'll exchange £2 for £10 instead of £2.50
That's a 20% saving and the least i would expect from a flash sale
That would do me just fine as otherwise we'll be eating toast for every meal until the new cooker is in :rotfl:
IIRC those vouchers come through very quickly too - I'll need to write a reminder in my diary to check on the 23rd.0 -

My last 2 are due in March as well....amazing isn't it how 'late' they are paying out despite being a premium customer!!
You're lucky! I have 2 due in April
Oh, and I'm also a 'premium' customer :rotfl:There comes a time in every woman's life when the only thing that helps is a glass of champagne ... Bette Davis0 -

Morning everyone.
I've caught up overnight. As someone who sometimes posts abouts this stuff, I can't help but feel a lot of it was aimed in my direction
I know you're all nice people. You don't need to post about things you do for me to know that you do them. I sometimes do because charity stuff has become a bigger part of my life than it used to be and I've always felt able to share my life on here. It does make me happy. And sometimes, when glitchy items are involved, I thought you'd all like to know where's it's gone. It's a fascination of mine, in the same way I like to see a tower of loo roll
I'm really sorry if my posts have irritated you guys. It has NEVER been my intention to show-off or guilt trip anyone into anythingAs I've said on FB, I post pictures of whatever makes me happy, gives me purpose etc etc. Sometimes it's a picture of my lunch, a beautiful sunset, or a link to a page where you can vote to get a charity some money. I don't discriminate.
I think, like FC, I might take a little break. Reading back has made me feel a bit sick.
Hope you all have wonderful Mondays xxDebt free 6th December 2014

Glad I saw this before I left, you will do no such thing young lady. You will stay here right where you belong. :A
I enjoy reading your posts about your life, you are one of life's givers including your time. I am sure it was not aimed at you personally.

Maybe not popularbut I just say what others are thinking? it's fine to be giving stuff to the food banks and I'm sure they welcome it......but has anyone ever stopped to think how utterly condescending they sound?? I have free biscuits.....I won't eat them so I'll give them to the food bank. Seriously folks, if you have been involved with the people who really need food banks ( not the ones that take the !!!!) you wouldn't dare be so condescending :-( why should someone be grateful for 'fillers' that you wouldn't dare eat yourself?
this has bugged me lately. in my experience food bank users are no better or worse than us. they are people who have fallen on hard times. Could be you or I? so why do they deserve the stuff that isn't good enough for you?0 -
Emmap-I need you to post-I love reading about the off the streets charity.
re-opinions-from what ive read i think there are just diverse opinions on what we give to charity and what we say we give publicly or not. Im pretty sure none of it was aimed at anyone. Just people giving opinions which is one of the things I love about this forum as well as the glitches and the lovely insghts into peoples lives. I found it fascinating reading about peoples experiences years ago of lack of money etc.
I just adore reading anything,. anything at all tweets writes about-there is something about her posts that makes me adore her even though I will never know her.
I almost cry sometimes, (well actually I do cry), when, people on here, gather round someone having a rough time and help them pull through..I think you are all brilliant, different, with different opinions and outlooks, but absolutely brilliant.
Emmap-you have to post-I need to know about the galaxy award..I hope they get it:A NI FEIDIR ACH LE DIA BREITHIUNAS A DHEANAMH ORM0 -

Couldn't agree more FC!:T
I rarely have stuff to give away because I don't buy stuff i don't need or will use, on the rare occasion I do an APG shop, I don't buy "fillers" I buy stuff i will use...milk, tinned toms, lemon etcfairclaire wrote: »To market to market to buy a fat pig.....home again, home again jiggety jig.
We all 'give' I know I do. I don't feel the need to advertise it on here or put pressure on others to give. If it's in your heart do it, you will do it quietly.
I personally find the pressure on others to 'give' quite abhorrent. And it has kept me from here recently.
I personally don't 'vote' for online comps because I've saw how ugly the voting system gets.
So I'm out sorry
Again agreed! you also get those who haven't been on the thread for months suddenly pop up with "can you all do me a favour and vote....""He that lieth down with dogs shall rise up with fleas" Benjamin Franklin
