I think I remember seeing some Champneys offers on groupon when I was looking for our stay last week. ;)

I don't know where the last year has gone either, she was walking around the furniture on her birthday and taking few steps but DD1 sent a video and it's lovely watching her toddling around. :D

Time moves so quickly it doesn't seem possible that today is another year without my mum on her birthday too. :A

Sending you a big hug Tiny it doesn't get any easier with time I don't think:AI am getting anxious as 4th Feb is my DH's:A 17th Anniversary and I still get sad on that day.

    Morning everyone.

I've caught up overnight. As someone who sometimes posts abouts this stuff, I can't help but feel a lot of it was aimed in my direction :o

I know you're all nice people. You don't need to post about things you do for me to know that you do them. I sometimes do because charity stuff has become a bigger part of my life than it used to be and I've always felt able to share my life on here. It does make me happy. And sometimes, when glitchy items are involved, I thought you'd all like to know where's it's gone. It's a fascination of mine, in the same way I like to see a tower of loo roll :o

I'm really sorry if my posts have irritated you guys. It has NEVER been my intention to show-off or guilt trip anyone into anything :( As I've said on FB, I post pictures of whatever makes me happy, gives me purpose etc etc. Sometimes it's a picture of my lunch, a beautiful sunset, or a link to a page where you can vote to get a charity some money. I don't discriminate.

I think, like FC, I might take a little break. Reading back has made me feel a bit sick.

Hope you all have wonderful Mondays xx

Emmap. i like the pictures that are posted. Of late i've been suffering a lot of illness and sadness and keeping up with the posts has taken my mind off my troubles.

In life, i'm afraid, sometimes people do make us feel bad and we must do our best to brush it off and carry on.

Personally, who gives a monkey's what other people think as long as you like yourself.

Hugs to evangeline and snap ant and to anyone else who's having a rubbish time.

I'm going to put my pennies worth in, I don't entirely agree with you FC.

I think that some of our glitches are an opportunity for some people that maybe cannot afford to usually donate to charities/ foodbanks to give a little. Not sure if I am sounding condescending now. :o

I have always felt that true charity giving is private to the individual, there was a very interesting radio 4 program about the subject while I was driving back yesterday. Everyone has their own gifts and talents and giving is not always about things/money our time can be equally as generous.

No one should feel pressured to do anything they are not comfortable with, what one person feels is a worthwhile cause another may feel something else is more important to them. No one should judge what each other do. :A

Most people give their unwanted gifts clothes and furniture to charity its not really that different with biscuits and fillers.

The fillers probably smart price are exactly what the food banks ask for as its what most people can afford to donate.

I'm not disagreeing with FC as such but I can see others point of view.

Please everyone do give if you want to can manage to cause without the donations there would be nothing.

And whether its self sacrificing or for the feel good factor of feeling helpful

    Donate on !

    thanks xxx

just wanted to say a few words on the food bank and charity debate, I like to see people posting about giving I also post sometimes about it, to me its not bragging its showing apreciation to the elite that I am in the position to help others, Every time there is a glitch and I can give I feel its the whole of the elite doing it not just me . It makes me smile and feel good that as a group we can not only benifit ourselves but we can help others, so I smile when others give.. it could be any of us that need the help one day... and you know my son has been in a bad place I hope he has benefited from the help of strangers.. I never give what I would not eat, and I thing everyone deserves a treat whether its a biscuit or a piece of chocolate. so if I can give these as well I will.

I dont care if others think I am condescending but we are helping others and it makes me feel good xxxxxxxxxxxx
hope I have not offended anyone you know I love you all xx
