Anyone else doing data entry at silly O'Clock?
I wonder if anyone else makes use of their caravan to do MSing? Its something I have never seen discussed on here.

My OH and I have just booked 10 nights on an idyllic CL about 200 miles away and will be earning a nice fat fee :T doing a circuit of well-paid jobs.

Sincere apologies to anyone stuck in traffic behind our outfit!

More a motorbike and a cheap B+B kind of shopper myself. I've been known to see somewhere that sounds nice on a list of shops and stick a round together.
Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?
Get jobs in offices and wake up for the morning commute?

Does anyone else want to say things they cannot on descriptions of people. My descriptions are usually so bland female - long fair hair tied back, short dark hair etc.

yesterday I had wicked thoughts about what I really wanted to say about appearance and intellect but remained professional in my write up :)

Yep - some times you want a say what a right old 'ruff scruff' they look. Went to one today, in really a quite a rough area where drinking cans of Tennants Xtra in the street at 9am:eek: is the 'norm'. Have to be diplomatic as otherwise you are on the end of 'stewards enquiry'
  • On a more serious note I think it would be helpful if we could describe skin colour and age. If there's a staff of 20 men and none of them are wearing a name badge, to say male, black hair, 5'7. It could be Fred who's 55 and Caucasian or Muhammad who is 19 and Asian. Why is age and race perceived as being a such no - no when giving descriptions?

Has anyone had experience with the packaged account job with TNS? The fee seems high, and I'm wondering if there's a catch...

I've done 2 for TNS - total doddle, you literally just phone up, make an appointment, record the appointment, scan and attach all the paperwork they give you, post back the dictaphone and do a small survey - easy money!

The catch is the credit search showing on your credit file, two or three of them can wipe out a good credit history, no matter what any MSC tells you they can not remove this.

Mostly its the client who states what info they want, its then down to them to identify the MoS, as long as you give them what they want don't sweat it.

Ah...well it does say it will not show on the credit history, but I'll call the MSC tomorrow to press them on this. Do you know if it's usual to credit check when opening a new account if you already have accounts with the same bank?
