Oh yes, then when you get proofreading queries asking you to repeat information you've already given in other questions..! No company in particular in mind then.0

Wow, what a thread. Will have to go through it all. I registered with a couple of mystery shopping companies a while back (while still in school) but never took action on their emails. Somehow they felt a bit spammy.0

My voice has had a cold and the rest of me felt fine. I've got a strong enough accent anyway, so even I can hardly tell what I said on a video shop earlier in the month. Luckily the MOS had the same accent as me so it went ok.
Don't know what they're going to do when they edit it, maybe add subtitles?Tell me truthfully whether you've ever added superfluous words to a sentence to increase the character count :-p
If only, I normally end up spending ages pruning my reports down by a few paragraphs to fit in the character requirement.Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?

Bonsai-ing reports is also useful.
And then they want all the detail you had to take out to get it down to their tiny word count:(0 -

Yup, had it over the holidays a proper cold, none of this man flu...
Sadly MF still have their proof readers.0 -

There's no way I'm ordering 6 burgers on a MS :rotfl: but these new timing points, I had trouble enough capturing the three without getting caught never mind a fourth, how are people managing this? I'm not doing any of these assignments until I find a suitable solution.0 -
Am I the only one being driven mad by conflicting visit instructions?
Latest one from Service Measure: "Visit must be carried out between Monday 11th and Friday 15th January." Sounds straightforward. However, there are further instructions which state that there are further date restrictions for this visit: "Please visit on a Friday or Saturday"
To avoid confusion, would it not be simplier to say that the visit must only be carried out on Friday 15th January?
Makes me laugh when I think of the pedantic feedback they sometimes provide!0 -
Honest answer, and I know it's not right, and I'm a cynical !!!!!!!. I'd take my pick out of Monday to Saturday, and if they argued, just forward them the page where it says to do it on that day.Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?
