Yey, 4 books are selling so far. Pray for more people...pray for more.
We spend £27 on a meal last night. It was really good and much needed...however, he's off to Scotland to have his final kilt fitting today. It's gonna set him back a few bob.
Still, I'm in a positive and upbeat mood today. My first bursary payment came through and by the end of this month most if not all of our wedding will be paid for. So that will be a massive load off!

Just added up my totals for food this week! Oophs! Mind you, we have done our shopping out of order and have done most of next weeks this week (I work Monday to Monday). So hopefully aside from the veg and a few bits of meat we need from the market mid week we should be sorted!
Hopefully we will keep under £300 for the month. I'm surprised we spend that much actually, but thats what having a rugby bloke in the house does. They eat sooooo much when trainning.
Any food related cost cutting tips appreciated, although I can't see where we can cut back really. We take our own lunches to work everyday. We do buy fresh fruit and veg though because we would like to eat healthy too.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.84 December 25

Ok so I sold 8 books in the end!!! Woo hoo! 5 didn't sell though which is a bit of a shame. I can't sell them any cheaper or it will cost me money to post them!!
Still some cash is better than none, and I still have a cheque to pay into bank for £106, from a job I did in June that I only just got paid for! Woo hoo. And I think the change jar is starting to look full again, so not long until I have to count that little baby again, which I always find really fun!Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.84 December 25

I think I really need to start a change jar (or bumble bee in my case) OH has a giant Beck's bottle he uses, comes in at the end of the day and empties all his loose change into.
I think I need to be much more disaplined. I'm glad the books sold, have you thought about doing a car boot with them (probably in the spring now) I've found books can go really well sometimes.Current debt - £16,300

Yeah, it's just getting the time for a car boot. Though I'm probably going to do one next summer with my parents as they still have lots of stuff I don't want at there house. It's too difficult trying to fit it all in around school other wise.
I have a big whiskey bottle....its a beautiful thing.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.84 December 25

I hate doing car boots, but have made £158 between the last 2 I have done, so it can help.
Good idea to do it with someone though, it's just to much on your own.Current debt - £16,300

Found out where he got the big whiskey bottle from. He just went into a pub where they had them and asked them to save one for him. Volia!
Had to go to the wedding venue for a meeting today. Couldnt figure out what it was for....was quite concerned. Turns out that they have revamped it all and it looks brill! I love it.
They are no longer taking bookings until it is complete next month, when they will reopen and hike all the prices up! So we will be one of the first weddings in the fancy new surroundings! Well impressed. Yey, something is going right for once!! Woo hoo!
Although we did have another weekend of spending. My OH bought his new laptop, we also bought a shredder and laminator for the office too!! Money, money, money. Mind you these are all things we need. And it's worth mentioning that he got nearly £300 off his laptop too thanks to the good old student discount!
Still, the honeymoon will be paid for within 2 weeks so fingers crossed our debts will substancially reduce! Woo hoo.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.84 December 25
