Morning everyone
I am going to make a concious effort to do very little today. I am my own worst enemy because I moan that I never get any down time but then I cant sit still.
Going to watch the boys play footie this aft. May have to call at Li*l too for a few essentials.
Hope you have a nice day Rubies[/B.
Oh and CY if you went to your party I hope you managed to forget about things for a bit. I hope something turns up this for him this week.0 -
Morning everyone. LittleyDog let me have a lie in this morning so I've not been up an hour yet, but so far I've started to make Yorkshire puds (replacement for the ones I threw away when the freezer failed), watered all the indoor plants and made up some food ready to put out for the birds when I'm dressed. I'm now just having breakfast and a quick catch up on here.
Plans for today:
Gym
Bath
Dog walk
Gardening
And time to chill out. It must be January. On R2 at the moment they're asking for peoples' highlights of the week, and do you know, I can't think of anything....
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
sending big hugs to wherever people need them

jazee - don't know if you've ever heard of al-anon - I have a friend who has found it to be very supportive for her http://al-anon.org and adfam for more online type support http://www.adfam.org.uk
going to hit up @ldi with my voucher this morning, make an attempt on some sewing and maybe get into the garden if it stays dry. Probably will do some batch cooking later as the freezer is looking a little bare0 -
Morning
Still in bed having a catch up with you all. Still lots of hugs and positive vibes needed, especially for dancemums aunty, that must have been terrible. I can relate to the teenagers and the studying thing, DD had been a nightmare so I backed off the nagging and she has picked up on her own. Was it CYs DD BF that lost his job, unfortunately if employed through an agency they can be dropped like a stone but at least they sound like they are trying to find an alternative for him. There was someone else whose DS was stressing over getting a job, agencies can be a good way to start, it's what my Ds did and it gave him the work experience he needed to get a FT job.
Should get up now really, been struggling with migraine/headaches for ages now and its got to the point I can't cope. Am on day 7 today, last month's lasted 13 days so am on new tabs from gp but the one I took last night didn't work so need to try again this morning. Am hoping that when I get the other tabs from chemist Monday that they will work as a preventive so fingers crossed. Has anyone here ever had to take propanolol as a preventative, someone told me they felt awful the first week taking it. Anyway eye test at 11 to check no problems there so better crack on. Oh and bathroom was done on Friday just need the extras done.

Hi All
Been flying since 8 a.m. Have now FINISHED book shelves completely with much assistance from DD and BF. Thank you so much to them. I am now off for a wash and to get dressed, did the last lot of work in pj's. Have been listening to tennis on radio and can not bear the excitement. AM was 1 set up,lost 2nd and 3rd is evenly and tense. Too much for me completely. 3-3 each in 3rd set. Ouch.0 -
Saunters in like it hasn't been 5 years since I last posted on here. ..
Afternoon ladies!
I see some familiar names are still here, holding the fort!
I'll be joining in next week, if that's ok.
Have started a little at home business and need to structure my housework before nothing gets done at all!!

Dailies done.
Cat stuff done.
Not much else really except the Bird Watch. Mostly starlings this morning. Then a robin and some house sparrows. Made my own fat ball and they are loving that.
Just pottered about and caught up on some tv. Off to a friends later for an hour so looking forward to that.
