Agreed, only brands like Fiat give big discounts, there must be a logic there somewhere.;)

Yeah, the logic being a £5k Fiat Panda is much better value than a £10k Honda Jazz.

Yeah, that's why you can't get a discount off of a Honda !!!;)

You can't haggle a discount at Sainsbury's either. Therefore Sainsbury must offer better value than my local market?

It was when I started it!! It's sparked an interesting debate about Fiat and cars in general though!

I doubt you'll find many good deals on Japanese cars. They tend to be pretty expensive, especially when newly released.

There are no problems getting discounts on jap cars. try broadspeed or drivethedeal

Perhaps not as strong as on some other brands but significant all the same

Its got nothing at all to do with it. Honda restricts the number of cars it supplies to the UK, therefore it doesnt have to discount them very much to sell the ones they have.

The flipside of that is that nobody wants the Legends that they bring in, therefore they will readily discount £3000+ off those.

As opposed to Fiat, who stack them high and sell them cheap.

Oh well, you Fiat lovers carry on buying them, i will spend my money more wisely.;)

So what would you recommend we buy instead of say, a Fiat Panda, or a Fiat 500?

A used Trabant.. ;) Seriously, I don't give a stuff what you buy, it's your money, all I have done is given my opinion on Fiats, which I stand by.

If you or anyone else wants to buy a Fiat, get on with it, it's your money, not mine.
