    Try as many other devices as you can at your friends house even a desktop if possible and try every web site that you have been having problems with.
    this will rule out the devices and hopefully a desktop ( you just need to take the tower)
    Remember to connect them to the internet just like you would at home.

    I'm back home now, tried the main troublesome websites on laptop while there and they were fine. Have not got a desktop.

    don't wish to interfere but
    You could try running a malwarebytes scan in safe mode as I believe this will find issues and fix them
    turn off your router
    turn on your PC whilst tapping the F8 key repeatedly then it the screen will ask you what you want to do
    using the arrow keys scroll to "Safe mode" and click enter
    let the pc load up
    close the info box then click on Malwarebytes and do a scan it will then find and fix any issues
    if it does find any write them down and post on here
