NS&I site is still timing out during login.
Is MoneySavingExpert.com content to let this fiasco continue?
Is there any useful advice for real people?0 -
Not really surprising (to any sane person) that the offer would attract a lot of interest. But NS&I must not have expected many people to try and buy on the first day because clearly their web site and phone lines are unprepared.
Reminds me of Olympic Tickets.
I've tried several time on the web site got as far as signing in to my account - but then no further activity about my attempt to buy before it decides that I have been idle for too long and times out.0 -

Yes, get a life!... DaveHappily retired and enjoying my 14th year of leisureI am cleverly disguised as a responsible adult.Bring me sunshine in your smile0 -
That is the same as my experience.
Any half decent and responsible organisation, which NS&I obviously isn't, would have prepared themselves and their systems over the past ten months. They would today be ready for the predictable demand.
Why do they not even reply to telephone calls and emails?
I can only assume they are scared.0 -
