I use the official virgin app "Virgin Mobile My Account" works well on Nexus 4 Avaliable FOC Google Play apps

I got that the other day, thinking it would be good. But it just seems to give me the data I've used since getting the app. There's no ref to looking up previous months data or anything..

It gives monthly running total for voice data and text refreshes when your accounting period refreshes you need to register with Virgin for full function But yes it does not give previous months usage

but that doc gives all their prices and charges. so i was referring too ZhugeEX who stated everyone was wrong.

even Cuilean pointed out another Three page that give charges, so in effect ZhugeEX was saying even Three were wrong

OK, but your post does rather confuse this thread which isn't about roaming...

I figured out a way to check data usage over the past year. This is only using 3G and lots of the time it's been rubbish so I've given up.
Although I don't stream video or download any large files when out of the house and away from wifi so maybe I'm just a low data user.. which would be great..

The most I've used over the last year is 538.83MB in a month.

I wonder if I might even be fine with a 1GB limit?

If Three don't automatically charge me for going over I might try that and see how it goes. I'm sure they'll be more than happy for me to upgrade if it's not enough...

I'm not sure if we got to the bottom of this question or not?

It seems like nobody knows for sure.. or did we get confirmation one way or the other in the end?

    I'm confused!

If you use up your data allowance on Three you will not be able to access data unless you choose to buy a bundle or wait until your next month.
You won't get any shock bills for data
It's not just about the money

My post #20, go to the link and read page 8, it's in black and white in the Three Price Guide.

    Actually, here's the link again:

The problem is that your previous data has been "rubbish" and therefore you didn't use much. It only takes an interesting YouTube video, wanting to catch up a TV program, listening to internet radio on your phone, and you've hit your limit. If you mostly use your phone for data while at home with WiFi, then a low data plan may suffice.

My OH didn't have data on her old phone, with an iPhone she's discovered that internet radio works a whole lot better in her office than FM or DAB... And listens to it all day long. In the past 7 days I've used 3.7 GB on my iPhone, mostly viewing YouTube reviews of a product I've recently bought and some Skype. We both have unlimited data on Three.

So, IMHO I would consider a higher data use plan to future proof your possible use.

I've never wanted to look at a video while I'm out of the house and not on wifi. I'm not even sure when I would do it - on the bus? It won't work on the tube anyway. And radio-wise, I've got a billion podcasts I'll have downloaded on wifi that will be keep me busy and 50 books I've got backlogged to read.

My data usage is 95% email, googling information and using google maps to find out where I'm going... There's a lot of email and a lot of googling but apparently that doesn't take up as much data as I thought!
