They're still at it. We ordered a table in mid-March on a next day delivery, they took the money immediately. 10 days later they cancelled the order due to an "unexpected software error", promising a refund. No sign of it yet! Have contacted both Sagepay & our bank.
  • I'm getting the same problem as other buyers.

Your order has been cancelled, a refund is on its way to you. This usually take 3 - 5 working days to appear in your account.

This is due to an unexpected software issue on our systems that automatically voided your order. It is an issue that is completely on our side, and there was no issue at all with your payment or details.

The issue has now been solved, and you can reorder on our website.

My problem is we paid by debit card. They are not answering or emails nor answering the phone. How do I get a refund?

  • I ordered an item on 3rd June, the company had no trouble debiting my account on the very same day.

I received an email straight away to say my order had been received and that 'customer satisfaction is very important to us. We will provide you with excellent service and will inform you when your order is being processed".

Just a day later I received another email saying "'due to the influx of orders received, your order may be processed a few days later than expected. This means that delivery may take an extra few days".

Despite contacting them asking for confirmation that the order was being processed, I have received no response so have now contacted them for a full refund. It is discouraging to read on their terms and conditions that they "will notify you about your refund..within a reasonable period of time". Let's hope it is 'reasonable'.
  • I have just had the exact thing happen to me. I ordered something on 24th May, told because of influx in orders it would be dispatched by 8th June, I have not received anything and my emails have been ignored. I went to the bank yesterday because I paid by credit card and I was told to email everything including emails received and ones I have sent, which I have just done. So now just waiting to see if they can sort it out for me. Hope they rot in hell the theiving ************ What give someone the right to steel someone's hard earned money:mad:

I think that the moral of the story is if possible always pay via paypal and unless you are a newbie called John who took the time and trouble to let us all know he had no issues don't bother.

Even if "John" is completely legitimate and not dare I say someone from the company then a 1 in gosh how many happy customers is not a place I would like to spend my money.

Don't forget that if you have paid via Paypal or credit card you are protected. So although it may take a while you will get your money back.

P.s I had a similar experience with a tile company and I think in the end ( once I had got my money back ) I was more annoyed with myself for being mislead.
Happiness, Health and Wealth in that order please!:A
  • I am so annoyed at myself for being mislead, I think that's what is more annoying than anything for me.
