Nicki - thanks for the heads up about not gassing myself (if anyone's interested IF you 'release' chlorine from cleaning products and breathe it in in your lungs it combines with water to form hydrochloric acid  - when I worked on the refinery we had an evac/emergency plan in place in case we released chlorine gas to the environment. It included closing the M1!)
I don't think it was chlorine gas I released but it certainly made my throat sore and caused me to coughThe moment I realised what had happened I opened the window and door (I was in the kitchen) as wide as I could, then got the livingroom windows open as well.
Lynne - Happy birthday
I've washed up, fixed the draught excluder letterbox flap which the postman has broken AGAIN, fixed DD's pencil which she'd snapped in half and was upset as it was a "star pupil" one from her primary school, made a coffee, and did some paid stuff on fb (aka checked the group I'm in on there to see if anyone needed anything I've got in stock and to see if anyone has anything I'd like but is no longer available).
DD is on her break so I guess I should go vacuum the stairs, before DUPA then washing another batch of dishes. Cooking from scratch is so much healthier but makes so much more washing up :rotfl: When its all done I can put the first wash load onCreeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

Paper read but still need to do puzzles. Having an early lunch of crab and sweet chilli wraps, delicious.
I remember years ago, cleaning the loo, throwing some bleach down and then deciding to have a bath. Started to feel ill in the bath, managed to get out and stagger to the bedroom where fortunately, I quickly recovered. That was the last time I ever mixed chemicals.
Have just seen a day out advertised that would appeal to both me and DH but its in January. Do I buy tickets now and possibly waste them if the weather is bad, or wait till the day before and see if they have any left. And will I really enjoy a day out which is outside at this time of year? Mmm one to ponder.Spend less now, work less later.0 -

Happy birthday Lynne. Sorry, I forgot to mention it earlier.
A wife of one of my colleagues mixed chemicals when cleaning and had a respiratory arrest and nearly died .
Ironing, part done, loads left to do!.

As I don't have the concentration today to do sewing, I've been taking inspiration from you flypeople and have done the following while it's been pouring with rain:
Sorted shoes
Cleaned the hob
Cleaned the worktops and everything on them
Decluttered more items (up to 50 now, not that you'd notice)
Now sunny, so I'm going to walk the dogs again.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
I've been cooking and dusting. Not together.
Don't want to eat what I've cooked now, lol. Conservatory after. I'll go put the heater on now...Bossymoo

Happy Birthday Lynne. Hope you are having a good day.
Trip into town decluttered. 3 washloads done. Going to start the cottage pie soon - always seems to take forever. Then crack on with the ironing.
Now that the plastering done by DS has dried OH is starting to prepare the wall for decorating. He was less than impressed to discover that DS has plastered in such a way as to make it impossible to get the main phone point back on the wall....
Anyway I am nice and cosy inside, so I really shouldn't grumble. Hope everyone is having a good day...:jFlylady and proud of it:j0
