Valli I think your weed is hairy bitter cress, and it's a menace. If you pick the small rosettes before flowering they are edible. It does explode seeds everywhere.

Had a great day today with my Mums Club, we took the kids to pizza express and then horrible histories theatre show. We all met when the eldest babies were tiny do have known each other 7 years now. There were 19 of us today inc kids but it wasn't the full gang. We've got our 3rd annual spa weekend in a fortnights time. SOOO looking forward to it !!!!!!:j:j:j:j

    Just checking in before bedtime...

Been really fed up today - not for any particular reason just really really bored.Nothing on the telly worth my attention so have just been pootling round doing nothing remotely exciting.

Never mind tomorrow should be a lovely day.It would have been my favourite Aunties birthday but we sadly lost her last October aged 87 after a long illness.Only myself and Mum could attend the funeral as she lived over 250miles away so the whole clan are gathering for Sunday lunch in her memory. Will be a sad but very happy occasion as she was such an amazing, stylish lady and very much my role model when I was a little girl.

Mr E always teased her that he holds her 100% responsible for my lifeling obsession with handbags as it was her who bought me my very first one when I was about 7. :rotfl:

She has so kindly left me a sizeable and totally unexpected bequest in her will and it is my dearest wish that I buy something really special to keep her memory alive....any guesses what I will be buying?

    Night all

    Elastic x x

awww she sounds as though she was wonderful (and do we get a photo of the .... handbag?)
    Must use my stash up!

I have been pottering. Hubby on the sofa and me trying to nip off to squeeze bits in.
Nipped off to the toilet earlier and cleaned the sink and toilet while I was in there. Hubby totally oblivious. He thinks we have fairies that do it all!

    Left to do tomorrow

Thursday Rooms of Doom and Bathrooms
    Hoover and wash the floors
    HHI x 4
    Wm x 1

Friday - Kids or Spare Bedrooms
Declutter any toys/books which are beyond their time
Hoover as much as the floor as you can
Wipe the window ledges and clean window cleaned all the upvc but ran out of time to do the glass!
    Clear wipe one surface
    Check library book returns

Morning all. Up at silly o'clock for a weekend as we have a new routine in our house now that DD has left. LittleyDog stays in her room until DH leaves for the paid stuff at 4.30 then she comes and jumps on our bed and stays with me. It is a compromise! BUT she won't sleep in later than 7am, it's like she's got a built in alarm clock.

Elasticmoney, enjoy your day today and your handbag when you get it.

Today this is my list at the moment:
    Put beef in slow cooker
    Water house plant
    Breakfast
    WUDUPA (incs last nights)
    Gym
    Bath
Walk dogs popping to farm for veg on way
    Hoover and mop through house
Make two cushion covers (no excuses Jazee, get this job completed today)
    Declutter something

    Have a great day everyone.
Spend less now, work less later.

    Morning all

Well I sorted my wardrobe and drawers yesterday - 5 binbags for the CS, 4 bags for DS's school and 1 binbag of rubbish!

Plan for today is to clear the surfaces in there I think. Not planning on going anywhere as we've had a bit more snow so everywhere is icy.

Yorkie - Congratulations to your DD!

    Have a good day all
