    Hello all

I have been busy (honestly) - I bought seville oranges on the market yesterday so I have made marmalade this morning (ooh a seal just 'popped' down) and I have done WM, TD and DW.

We had snow last night but it has been bright and sunny so I have had all the upstairs windows open and have wiped down all the frames and cleaned all the windows. I have also cleaned my room and am partway through the bathroom but I stopped for lunch.

Lovely news Cycling Congratulations to them both.
and Elastic - enjoy the bag...

Belated birthday greetings Lynne and many congratulations to Miss CY.

Didn't get online again yesterday; Jessie Doodle went home in the morning, and we went into town for the weekly F&V run; after which I felt so ill I had to retire to bed.:( Now today, my eyes feel like I have sandpaper on my eyelids, and my mouth is permanently dry - as in really, really dry so I'm guessing the ruddy Sjogren's has reared it's ugly head again. I have a glass of water on the table, and keep taking sips; there's not a lot else I can do.

Still, Mr LW has helped me get caught up with our weekend tasks; and we've had veggie toad-in-the-hole for lunch, and I've made a mincemeat tart (with HM mincemeat that we didn't use over Yule/New Year).

Next canine guest isn't arriving til 29th January - unless there are any last-minute bookings in between, but that's not likely, it's a quiet time of year. But the next one is my ol' mate Jessie Lab.:T

Uh, oh - my PDA juat squeaked at me to remind me the tv licence is due at the end of this month. Better earmark some money, then. :( If it was down to me, I'd get rid of the tv, but Mr LW insists we keep the dratted thing.

Hope you feel better soon LW.

Make two cushion covers (no excuses Jazee, get this job completed today)
    [STRIKE]Walk dogs again[/STRIKE]

Just having another cuppa and a slice of Xmas cake trying to think of what else might need doing before I make a start on the cushion covers...not like me, I like sewing but I can see this turning into a frog.

Ok so dog groom and some play time with them first. Yesterday I even cleaned the toilets instead of sewing.

Elastic that sounds just a perfect celebration

LW hugs for the dreaded sjorgens

Sun and the garden got the better of me so did 2.5 hours out there instead of paperwork. Never mind.

Sorting dinner now. I'll finish the reports I need to do later and the banking, the rest will have to be done tomorrow.

Would you believe that by the time I'd groomed the dogs (they didn't want to play, too tired from their walks) and made a crumble, DH arrived home and I didn't get a chance to start on the cushions covers.

Elasticmoney - glad you had a lovely day.

I promise to be a better flylady next week. See you all on the next thread.

    Hello flylady friends,

Juliejim do you have anything left after your clear out? Impressive stuff!

Froddington Birmingham sounds good but it's not easy for me to get there. I will look into it.

CY what lovely news. Congratulations to your DD and her fianc!.

I also had a clear out of my wardrobe but it is an unfinished job. DH brought DS3 back from football training early because his @sthma flared up. He deteriorated further and we had to call for an ambulance. We spent 4 hours in hospital. I've followed their instructions to the letter and he crashed again at 10.15 this morning. It's really frightening. He hasn't had an attack for years. The cold air, strenuous exercise and Undiagnosed tonsillitis were the catalysts. He's been wrapped up on the sofa and looks much younger than his age.

I didn't sleep at all well last night, lights on and my ears were on elastic. I've finished the wardrobe clear out and I have lots to put on eebay. DH broke up the old sofa in the garage and did a tip run with the 2 carrier bags I deemed past their sell by date.

I need an early night tonight!

mumto5 very big get well soon wishes to DS3, how frightening for you all

BathroomDone! Managing to continue with this, as somehow is convenient time.

Sunday lunch has been cooked and eaten by all, and I have done some planning for the week ahead. I am finding this really slow to do at the moment, still not really back in work mode yet!

Ok, must iron shirts for work, and pack bag, then have the evening off I think.

  • Hi quick update

Managed to do HHI, hoovering upstairs and downstairs and a good hour or more "pootling" - by which I mean sorting out drawers and cupboards and moving things to better locations.

Then tried to find out flight numbers so we could book the airport parking for our holiday in June 10% off atm - but the centre in which our travel agents shop is situated was closed!!! wasted journey - should have rung.

Spent half hour or more speaking to my Aunt in America, then have de-cluttered some TV recordings - three hours' worth!! Just spent half an hour moving cds and dvds into the footstool and tidying it out. May just de-clutter those but it isn't full yet so perhaps leave for later!!!
Procrastination is the name of the game.
Our evening meal is on - then I must start my knitting!

Catch up tomorrow. Think we may not do the beach clean-up at 9.30 as it is due to be even colder than today!

Take care everyone. x CU tomorrow.
