Me again. Gym is clean, it was minging, lots of dust bunnies under the treadmill. Have also put clothes away that were on airers from yesterday and have hoovered downstairs.

Going to have a quick look to see if there is a LR job from yesterday that I can fit in before dog walking and paid stuff.

Oh and I think I will be decluttering an expensive new bottle of perfume to DD later, it has brought me out in a rash.

    Catch you all later.
Spend less now, work less later.

As you can see your 'leader' does not have a tidy kitchen or any clothes on her maiden which is now a cat climbing frame.

Very sorry to hear that your mum's op was cancelled, Dusty. (((Hugs))) to you both.
Glad you're feeling more positive this morning, YL.

The palliative care team are doing a brilliant job with my friend: her pain is well under control, and she is a great deal more comfortable. The physios are trying to get her to sit out of bed for short periods. Yesterday (fanfare please!) she managed to take a few steps, and then they wheeled her to a proper toilet. She was so pleased. Babysteps!

A dusting of snow at about 11 pm yesterday and a clear blue sky this morning has added brightness and sparkle to the view from my desk :j Must ask DH to put mealworms out for the birds.

I bought a new PC monitor yesterday and it has taken me an hour and a half to figure out how to set it up. I have now got the settings sorted out, only to realise that there are no built-in speakers  so the dratted thing will have to be returned this afternoon. I am a complete technophobe. I can use all sorts of computer programs but the hardware defeats me every time

    My list for today:
    - dailies
    - WM x1
    - TD x2
    - 3 phonecalls
    - 4 emails (2 of them require detailed notes)
    - Gift Aid claim
    - finish tri-fold boards
    - hospital visiting
    - swap monitor
    - card for DGS2
    - filing and tidying in study

(((Hugs))), spoons and sticks where needed. Hope everyone has a good day x

    Morning! Lovely pics dusty

Told school DS has a docs appointment tomorrow, at 10.30 we are to take him in at nine, and go back for him at 10 so he gets his mark. Lol. Not disruptive at all all. Clearly all about the children and not a tick box exercise at all...

Anyway, kiddies decluttered in the snow, still snowing and sky looks full.

Must do paid stuff. Determined not to work extra hours after today. Famous last words. But house is suffering for it...

Been at a work conference all day so haven't had time to post before I got home. Hope everyone's had a good day and hugs to those who haven't.

We don't really have a Room of Doom as such but there are definitely hotspots (our dining table and a couple of my drawers in the bedroom) so will try and do those this evening as well as the bathroom.

Thursday Rooms of Doom and Bathrooms
    Level One
15 minutes or more tidying/decluttering in your RofD
Clean sink and toilet, wipe the dust that settles on the back of the toilet pipes

    Personal extras
    S&S kitchen
Washing machine x 1 and put on airer (dare I say it but I think I'm finally on top of the washing!)
Put away washing currently on airer
Take work shoes out of bag for tomorrow
Remember to get cash out on way to work tomorrow (going to the Rembrandt exhibition at the National Gallery with a friend so Friday flying might get pushed back to the weekend depending when I get home)

    Just condensing!
Morning all :). Just updating my lists whilst having a quick coffee.
It's very nice being able to delete a good chunk of the days list before you start isn't it? :).
Weather here very cold, currently clear but we have had 2 humdinger hail storms in the last 2 hours.
Just had to stop typing and go and clean the kitchen as dog brought in half a trowel and ton of mud .

    Dusty, kitties are beautiful!

Dusty - sorry to hear about your mum's op being cancelled. Hope there is no further delay in 2 weeks time. The NHS were fab with late OH but further cuts have been made since then, it's appalling it's been cut to the bone. I love the pictures of the kitties, it made me slightly kitten broody, until I realised the errant cat is only 8 months old, he's so big I forget he's that young.
YL & Bossy - hugs ladies, you do what you can and remember to have some 'me' time.
HB - thinking of you and your poorly relatives. Safe travelling

    Yesterday's flying:

    LR & hallway dusted
Picture rails and skirting in LR vacuumed
    LR, hallway & kitchen vacuumed
    HHI
    Dailies done

Today's extras for me in addition to Dusty's list (so glad it's the bedroom today, the dust bunnies are breeding at an alarming rate!)

Ring the decorator back - we keep missing each other
    List radiator cover on freecycle
Polish shoes - still not done it!!
HHI - if washing is dry enough

    Have a great day all
