Hiya JPS, we are awaiting a diagnosis it will either by very simple to resolve, or not......fingers crossed etc.
I am distraced but a still bring careful, just weighed my self and am - 1 today but official weigh in is tomorrow and I am at my brother's all day so things could be different tomorrow.
Have just watered and toured my garden all looking wonderful.0 -
I'll be thinking of you and wishing your mum the best tootallulah. Well done for staying on it even though you're distracted.
I weigh in tomorrow too, and hope I've lost more than a couple of pounds this week. I want to lose 3 or more this week, but although I've had a good week food wise, I haven't got much exercise in.
My garden is my sanctuary as well... even though it's far from perfect, it gladdens my heart to be in it.I believe in the freedom of spinach and the right to arm bears.

"A garden is a lovesome thing" Hi jps I hope you have good news tomorrow. Barbecue today so goodness know what my weigh in will be.0

Weighed in this morning and I have stayed the same. It is proving a bit of a haul to hit that 3 stones mark!0
-
I consider staying the same to be a victory sometimes! Well, I did it... I lost 3 and a half pounds! It was so hard this week, I don't know if I'm strong enough to lose that much every week but I'll try.
I feel so different now, I used to feel completely helpless with bingeing, but now I know I can control it if I work hard. I must stay focused!
Hope your mum is doing okay tootallulah xxI believe in the freedom of spinach and the right to arm bears.

That is great news jps, really well done.
Many thanks for asking about my Mum in herself she is fine but she has serious unexplained anaemia which is either something V serious or something fairly simple, we should hear later this week. So worrying, although the NHS care received so far has been fantastic.0 -
Thanks, and I'm glad your mum is in good hands tootallulah. I'll keep you both in my thoughts.I believe in the freedom of spinach and the right to arm bears.

Just popping by to say I hope it's the best news for your mum tootallulah. My mum is also very unwell atm as she has complex health issues, so I know how hard it is to continue with everyday life, especially healthy eating, when you're dealing with things like this.
Sending you and your mum lots of love and luck xxMortgage @ 03/2019: £125,000, Now: £49,869.55

Sorry to hear about your Mum being unwell tootallulah - fingers crossed for the uncomplicated diagnosis! Also your mum, MeandO - hope for some better days soon!
I was on the naughty step after last week's weigh in as a result of our Butlins weekend (which was crazy fun) - managed to gain 5lbs  although, in my defence, I was also retaining a lot of water as it was so hot, so I'm hoping that accounted for a pound or two at least!Over futile odds
And laughed at by the gods
And now the final frame
Love is a losing game0 -
I hope all goes well for your mums tootallulah and MeandO.
Well done jpscloud. It's probably a bit much to expect to lose that much every week (even when I'm being really, really good I can't maintain that kind of loss) so just remember that having those every now and then is a good thing.
Rosie, at least you had a good time gaining weight and, as you say, hopefully some of it will just be down to how hot it is.
I seem to be finding it very hard to get back to eating sensibly and have managed to put on another 2lb. I don't actually mind all that much though because I've been enjoying being totally relaxed about everything and keep reminding myself that I'm still a lot healthier than I used to be so, as long as I get back to it before I do too much damage, then it's no great worry.0
