Day 157, 1651 calories.
Hello and welcome Alikay, brilliant restraint - good luck.
Evening jps and there goes another lb you never need see again (2 packs of butter have shifted from somewhere).
Corporate breakfast tomorrow but I seem to deal with these temptations better when it is earlier in the week. Really good day today, lovely to see the sun and for it still to be light at nearly 9.00 p m.0 -
Day 158, 1659 calories.
Still sorting, on days like this I wish I had a car.0 -
The next thing I am going to tackle more rigorously in the throwing out frenzy is books, I did it in a desultory way a few weeks ago but I am going to get back on it this evening in a more ruthless way.
Last night I turned up all of the "woo hoo they fit me now" trousers and I planted what remained of my self grown annuals. All of the garden looks a bit green and rather dull now they better get flowering quickly. As it turns out the cornflowers I grew were wrongly labelled "dwarf" they are huge I have had to replant all of them much further back in the beds. Growing things is very satisfying.
My Board meeting is today so I have been awake pondering since 5 a.m.....on days like this I do wish that I had just taken full retirement but I only feel like that on Board days, no doubt it wont be as bad as I am fearing.
I am working the last week-end in June for a client in Miami, oddly enough the meeting will be in Edinburgh. And then it is only two weeks until my holiday in France.0 -
Hiya Cisy, thanks for your good wishes, yes we have been blogging and losing weight for nearly six months now. We are almost half way through the challenge.

3lbs off for me this week. Big question is...can I manage to lose 2lb next week, taking me to my 3st target, when it's my birthday this weekend and I'm off work all next week?Over futile odds
And laughed at by the gods
And now the final frame
Love is a losing game0 -
Day 160 1971 calories.
Yes YOU CAN CWR, I am in exactly the same place, I need at least 2 lbs this week then I am within spitting distance of three stones. Have a hooley for your birthday and then be super intense for the week at home? Good luck.0 -
I have counted the days since I started dieting properly TODAY, the 19th of June is day 159.0

OK the real Day 160, 1630 calories. Off to the market and then the deep joy of completing my tax return..........Still better to do this on a dull day than a sunny one so I should just get on with it.0

Day 161, Calories 1671. Top tip, do not watch Marry Berry's BBC 1 programme when you are on a diet. I really want pasta bake now, I have never even made a pasta bake, but the ingredients are all in the kitchen..........0
