Good afternoon everyone, just updating my spends.
Yesterday I bought some charcoal, strawberries and bread in Mr M so spent £4.24.
Today spent £3.28 in L*dl on pork chops and sausages, as we want to try out our new to us BBQ today, as next weekend is DDs birthday bbq so having a trial run:rotfl:
Still going quite well and know what we will be buying for the BBq pretty much although this will not come out of my grocery budget.SPC 11 #4450 -

Local shop £4.83 + £5.17
L!dl £21.38
Wa!trose £7.70 & £6.88
£stretcher £6.89
Ald! £22.50
I've updated my signature; does anyone else find that their local corner shops do some really good deals from time to time?
Happy Sunday everyone! :TNo Buying Unnecessary Toiletries May 2025

Busy week. My nan's unfortunately not very well. Not sure if she's going to be with us much longer. Mean's I've been up to visit her and my dad, and going back up for father's day - may be staying for a little while.
So far I've limited myself to about £25 in food and groceries. Could be worse. That sounds like a classic case of premature extrapolation.

Hi
Did pound world yesterday and spent £18.Got lots of cheap toblerone for toblerone cheesecakes on tuesday. Am quite excited by this recipe!
Have done the month of Mr T orders and if I am disciplined I will come in well under budget. However we have silage men to feed, a birthday and lots of visitors coming. So will be challenging.
I am so enjoying this lovely weather, seems such a shame to have to go back to work tomorrow. At least will not get sun burnt!
Have fun all.

Have gone through freezers & cupboards and have basic mealplan for the next couple of weeks to use up various bits and clear freezers down for defrost & clean ready to rebuild supplies.

Added £13.27 to my shop spends today - of which £1.25 goes to my 'anything else' budget due to it being a Whoopsie saving, £3 moved due to being special offer savings, and £5.40 moved over due to cashback claims. So a good shopping trip for my 'anything else' budget which gained £9.65
Spreadsheet now shows total 'spend' of £50.30 which is about right for my £200 unofficial target, and £48.40 from shops (way too high for my £105 target - even my real parting with money of £28.94 is a bit higher than it should be if I use that for my £105 target). I also need to get to Costc0 to stock up on mince (on offer this month), and I'd like to get some lamb steaks too (also on offer) - so I'm almost certainly going to struggle to even stay under my official budget.Cheryl0
