First spends of the month today - £10.01
Picked a £1 coin up off the floor as wellthere was no one around looking like they had dropped it so its now in the savings pot.
Freezing cold here today so in a bit I am going for a nice hot soak in the bath - bliss.
Good luck everyone.MARCH £62.38/2500 -
Okay, May.
May is going to be the month where I start keeping track again... It is, Honest.
£125 for food, drink, meals at work, meals out.
Yesterday I spent £35 on drinks and a meal out with friends, and enough groceries for the next week. That sounds like a classic case of premature extrapolation.

Hi
Couple of spends over the last 2 days, plus a Mr T delivery today. Spends so far £57.65. Apart from Dog Food, that should be it until next Friday (we live in hope)
I've also spent £25 from the 2nd purse on promotions. That money won't show on my monthly grocery budget until I "buy" it from the stores. Will update 2nd purse in sig when order arrives.

This week's food shop done! Went to Ald* last night for a few things, which totalled £7.42 - didn't get any fruit and veg though. Then I headed off to the market this morning, which was actually a bit disappointing
The meat was much better quality/price than in the supermarkets (shame I'm vegetarian!) but the produce stalls were quite a bit more expensive.
They did have a lovely Italian deli stall, which I managed to resist buying anything from, and a nice cheese stall. I needed feta anyway for my menu plan so thought I'd get it from there - £3.36 for 200g! I'm very annoyed at myself because I should have a.) checked the price first and b.) just told the guy to leave it! I felt too bad as he'd already cut it and weighed it out, but I'm kicking myself for not being more 'cutthroat' and just saying no. That's 5% of my budget for the whole month... gone on cheese...And the supermarket do a 'Greek Style Salad Cheese' for 85p! Grrrr...
Anyway, I ended up going to the supermarket for fruit and veg instead, which came to £6.72 - so a grand total this week of £17.50. Over budget but hopefully I can make up for this later in the month!
Hope everyone's having a good bank holiday weekendCredit card debt: [STRIKE]£1200[/STRIKE] PAID OFF AT LAST! :j
